From June 26th to 29th local time, under the guidance of the Information Office of the State Council and the State Administration of Radio and Television, the online platform of the China Joint Booth organized more than 20 Chinese audio-visual institutions such as China Television Artists Association, Fujian Radio and Television Bureau, Guangxi Radio and Television Bureau, Fujian Radio, Film and Television Group, Sichuan Satellite TV, China Mobile Migu Company, Huace Film and Television Group, iQiyi, Noon Sunshine, Hangzhou Jiaping Films, Shanghai Lemon Film and Television, and Zhongnan Cartoon to appear at the 24th Arab Radio and Television Festival in Tunisia. During the period, the Sino-Arab Audiovisual Cooperation Forum and the "Audiovisual China" Excellent Program Promotion Conference were also held.
Dong Xin, Deputy Director General of the State Administration of Radio and Television of China, Wan Li, Chinese Ambassador to Tunisia, Mohammed, CEO of the Saudi Radio and Television Authority and President of the Arab States Broadcasting Union, Suleiman, Secretary-General of the Arab Broadcasting Union, and Dali, Director of Tunisian National Television, made a special trip to visit the China Joint Booth and attended the forum. During the TV festival, a number of institutions reached cooperation intentions and signed contracts, and achieved fruitful results.
On June 27, the China-Arab Audiovisual Cooperation Forum and the "Audiovisual China" Excellent Program Promotion Conference were successfully held in Tunisia.
This year coincides with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the China-Arab States Cooperation Forum and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Tunistia, and more than 70 works were displayed at the China's joint booth at this year's TV Festival, including the TV series "My Altay" and "In the Distance", the documentary "China", "Exploring the Source of the Silk Road", the cartoon "Music Princess Emily" and "The Return of the Sky Eye", and the variety show "Friends from Far Away" and "Flowers and Youth-Silk Road Season". The works are rich in genres and comprehensively demonstrate the humanistic connotation and artistic concept of Chinese audio-visual. The abundant works and wonderful film screenings have aroused the interest of audiences from all over the world.
During the TV Festival, the China-Arab Joint Booth held the China-Arab Audiovisual Cooperation Forum and the "Audiovisual China" Excellent Program Promotion Conference with the theme of "China-Arab Friendship, Audio-Visual Mutual Learning", which attracted the attention of many media organizations in the Arab region.

Dong Xin said in his speech that the General Administration organized China's joint booth to participate in the Arab Radio and Television Festival, aiming to encourage and support Chinese audiovisual institutions to expand exchanges and cooperation with Arab countries in copyright trade, content co-production, etc., and show the world a real, three-dimensional and comprehensive China through audiovisual works. It is expected that the Chinese and Arab audiovisual counterparts will further enhance friendship and deepen cooperation, and inject more new momentum into the common development of China-Arab radio and television listening.
In his speech, Suleiman said that strengthening cooperation in the audiovisual field with China is a strategic priority of the Arab Broadcasting Union, and he was very pleased to see the "China Joint Booth" unveiled at the Arab Radio and Television Festival, which laid a new brick for the bridge of friendship between the Arab-Chinese peoples.
In his speech, Wan Li said that in recent years, batches of China's outstanding audiovisual works have "gone to sea" to meet the Arab people, and the two sides have carried out various forms of cooperation. We look forward to more and better audio-visual works to show the real, three-dimensional and comprehensive Chinese and Arab worlds, and build a bridge of friendship with the charm of light, film and audio.

On behalf of the State Administration of Radio and Television, Dong Xin signed a cooperation agreement with the UAE Broadcasting Federation, under which the two sides will strengthen cooperation in policy exchanges, program exchanges, technology industries and talent training in the field of broadcasting and new media. The online platform of the China Joint Booth, the Fujian Radio and Television Bureau, and the China Television Artists Association also signed cooperation agreements with relevant units of the Arab side.
At the forum, Fan Zongchai, vice chairman and secretary general of the China Television Artists Association, Liu Yongtong, general manager of Fujian Radio, Film and Television Group, Gong Yu, CEO of iQiyi, Hou Hongliang, chairman of Dongyang Noon Sunshine Film and Television Co., Ltd., Da Li, director of the foreign affairs department of Tunisian national television, Ma Murui, director of the foreign affairs department of Tunisian national radio, Nabia, director of the television department of the Arab Broadcasting Union, and other Chinese and foreign guests conducted dialogues and exchanges on the foundation and future of China-Arab audiovisual cooperation.

At the same time, at this year's TV Festival, the online platform of the China Joint Booth also widely solicited excellent programs translated and dubbed in Arabic from all over the country, and recommended 5 works to participate in the selection of the 2024 "UAB Program Award". Established in 1981, the Arab Radio and Television Festival is the largest event for the radio and television industry in the Arab region and has been held for 23 years. The 24th edition of the festival was co-organized by the Arab States Broadcasting Union, the Arab Telecommunications Satellite Organization and the Tunisian National Television in Tunisia from June 26 to 29, 2024, with the participation of more than 100 institutions from the Arab region and more than 30 countries, including China, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Austria and Belgium.
