In order to effectively respond to destructive earthquake disasters and secondary disasters, we should effectively enhance the emergency preparedness capabilities of all departments at all levels, and improve the town's earthquake relief emergency command capabilities and emergency rescue comprehensive combat capabilities. On June 27, Liuchang Town organized a comprehensive combat drill for earthquake emergency response.
The drill simulated a 5.9-magnitude earthquake in Jianyun Cement Plant in Liuchang Town, which caused damage to some houses, roads, power and communications, and at the same time caused a mountain collapse, trapped personnel, earthquakes and rains at the same time, and heavy rainfall led to dangerous situations at geological disaster points, which directly threatened the safety of people's lives and property.
After receiving the news, Liuchang Town immediately launched the "Overall Emergency Plan for Emergencies in Liuchang Town", "Emergency Plan for Earthquake in Liuchang Town", "Special Emergency Plan for Flood Control and Drought Relief in Liuchang Town", and "Emergency Plan for Sudden Geological Disasters in Liuchang Town", established an earthquake emergency rescue headquarters, set up 9 working groups, and quickly rushed to the "disaster area" to carry out earthquake relief work.
The drill lasted one hour, successfully rescued 17 trapped people, and transferred a total of 40 people. Housing safety assessment, disaster monitoring and verification in the earthquake area were carried out in an orderly manner.
After the exercise, the guidance group evaluated and analyzed the drill process, and asked to summarize the experience of the drill, improve the emergency plan, strengthen the emergency material reserve, do a good job in publicity and education, and continuously enhance the level of grassroots emergency response system construction.
In the next step, Liuchang Town will take this drill as an opportunity to continuously summarize experience, improve the plan, improve the deficiencies, further optimize and strengthen the emergency rescue team, strengthen the emergency rescue linkage mechanism, and continuously improve the emergency response ability.
