Notice on Holding the 2024 Academic Annual Meeting of the Autism Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine (Third Round)

In order to exchange new progress in the diagnosis and treatment and rehabilitation of autism at home and abroad, learn new concepts, new knowledge and new technologies in related fields, and promote the healthy development of autism rehabilitation in mainland China, according to the 2024 academic activity plan of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine, the 2024 Annual Academic Meeting of the Autism Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine is scheduled to be held in Zhengzhou, Henan Province in mid-July 2024 (conference code: XSHD2024-027).
With the theme of "Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Standardized Development", the conference invited well-known experts in the fields of autism diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation, education and other related fields to give special academic reports, and carried out academic paper exchanges and science popularization competition work collection activities. The relevant matters of the meeting are hereby notified as follows:

(1) The content of the solicitation of papers
Clinical and basic research in the field of childhood autism rehabilitation, mainly including:

4. Traditional Chinese medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine treatment
5. Research on the integration of medical care and education
6. Community and social rehabilitation
7. Research on etiology and pathogenesis

(2) Submission requirements
1. Papers and reviews that have not been published in national public journals shall be responsible for their own writing;
2. The content of the manuscript includes the title, author, Chinese abstract (purpose, methodology, results and conclusion, limited to 800 words) and the main text;
3. Please indicate the author's name, affiliation, title, mailing address, zip code, email address, and contact number.

Notice of the First Children's Autism Rehabilitation Science Competition
All relevant units:
In order to promote the in-depth implementation of the Healthy China Initiative, in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Healthy China 2030" Planning Outline and the Outline of the National Scientific Literacy Action Plan (2021~2035), the Autism Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association decided to hold the first Children's Autism Rehabilitation Science Competition, aiming to strengthen science popularization and publicity work, and provide high-quality services for more children and families.
Since its launch, the competition has attracted wide attention and active participation, and a total of 706 popular science works on autism have been received. In order to ensure the fairness, professionalism and authority of the competition, the expert jury of the competition has formulated detailed evaluation criteria and competition procedures. The competition is divided into two stages: the preliminary and the final. In the preliminary review stage, the jury strictly screened the entries based on multiple dimensions such as scientificity, knowledge, popularity, innovation, artistry and originality. After careful review, a total of 113 video works and 73 graphic works successfully advanced to the finals. The relevant matters of the finals are hereby notified as follows:

II. Contest Rules
1. Competition grouping: In order to ensure the fairness of the competition, the entries that advance to the on-site finals will be randomly divided into two groups.
2. Competition Format:
Video works will be demonstrated on site, and participants are required to give a detailed introduction to their works, and the overall display duration must be controlled within 5 minutes.
Graphic works are in the form of a combination of PPT display and on-site speech, and the display duration shall not exceed 3 minutes. There is no limit to the number of entries per entry.
3. Awards: There are two categories of awards in this competition: Outstanding Work Award and Outstanding Organization Award. The Outstanding Work Award will be objectively scored by the expert jury according to the established scoring criteria, and the Grand Prize, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize and Excellence Award will be set up in groups. The Outstanding Organization Award will be selected based on the number of submissions from medical institutions, and the top 10 institutions will receive this award.
4. On-site awards: The award-winning works (including the grand prize, first prize, second prize, third prize, excellence award and excellent organization award) will be officially awarded at the closing ceremony of the 2024 academic annual meeting of the Autism Rehabilitation Professional Committee of the Chinese Rehabilitation Medical Association.
3. Copyright and Related Responsibilities
1. The entries must be original, and the entrants must be the legal owners of the works, and any form of plagiarism or misappropriation is strictly prohibited. If the work contains non-original materials, the entrant must hold the legal authorization to use the materials and ensure that the copyright or other legitimate rights and interests of any third party are not infringed. If it is found that there is plagiarism, plagiarism, fraud or intellectual property problems in the work, the candidate will be disqualified immediately.
2. If the work uses other people's portraits, photos, pictures, music, etc., the source must be clearly marked or the authorization of the copyright owner must be obtained. The copyright issues involved in the work will be fully responsible for the submitter. The Organizing Committee shall not be liable for any legal or economic liabilities (including but not limited to portrait rights, reputation rights, privacy rights, copyrights, etc.) arising therefrom. In the event of a legal dispute arising from the entries, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to disqualify the participants and recover the awards.
3. By submitting the work, the participant shall be deemed to have authorized the organizing committee to publicize and promote the work on various information network terminals (such as radio, Internet, mobile phone, TV, etc.). Entrants agree to the Organizing Committee to display their works in the promotion of the event.
4. Once the work is submitted, it means that the original creator agrees to publish the work publicly and undertakes to abide by all the provisions of these rules. The Autism Rehabilitation Committee of the Chinese Association of Rehabilitation Medicine reserves the right of final interpretation of this event.
