The Shanghai-Suzhou-Lake high-speed railway leads from Shanghai Hongqiao Station, passes through Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, and ends at Huzhou Station, Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total length of about 164 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour, with 8 stations in Shanghai Hongqiao, Shanghai Songjiang, Liantang, Suzhou South, Shengze, Huzhou Nanxun, Huzhou East and Huzhou, which is a major project of infrastructure interconnection in Shanghai, Suzhou and Huzhou, and is also a key project of Yangtze River Delta railway networking, network supplementation and strong chain.
