A total of more than 2,000 fragrant wood, bulb heather, and cow tendon saplings were planted in this voluntary tree-planting activity, covering an area of 15 acres, which further improved the awareness of the responsibility of the majority of cadres and workers to plant trees and protect the ecology, enhanced everyone's awareness of ecological civilization of planting, loving and protecting green, and created a strong atmosphere of "everyone participates in planting greenery and protecting green, and co-creating and building green waters and green mountains".
It is reported that since the establishment of the Yangzonghai Management Committee, a total of 110,000 mu of forests have been planted through the implementation of measures such as returning farmland to forests, afforestation subsidies, transformation of inefficient forests, and closing mountains for afforestation. In recent years, Yangzonghai has shifted the focus of land greening to the Yangzonghai River Basin, and has implemented afforestation and greening projects, mountain regreening and other projects, implemented greening of 9,000 mu, and carried out voluntary tree planting of 1.2 million trees. Up to now, the forest coverage rate of Yangzonghai has reached 45.35%.
