My Vietnamese girlfriend is a very lively and lovely girl, her yearning for China has long been bubbling like a surging river, she has told me before that she has a Chinese dream, and this time to be able to come to China is even more exciting.
She feels that China is a mysterious and beautiful country with a long history and culture and alluring customs, so she has always longed to be able to come to China in person and experience everything China has to offer.
How do you feel when you come to China?
Finally one day, my Vietnamese girlfriend got her wish and successfully came to China for a tour, she came to coincide with a traditional Chinese festival, so in these few days in China, she not only witnessed China's unique traditional cultural activities, but also tasted a variety of authentic Chinese food, and the hospitable Chinese people narrowed the distance between each other, which can be said to be full of harvest.
During her travels in China, she deeply felt the rapid development of China, which opened her eyes, especially the degree of urban construction and transportation development in China, which was like being in the future, which made her sigh and strengthened her beautiful imagination of China.
Depressed mood after returning to Vietnam
Just as she was about to end her trip in China and return to Vietnam, her mood flipped from initial excitement and happiness to a depression that bordered on despair, and she cried for 3 days, which really surprised me.
The reason why she was depressed was because after she returned to Vietnam, she went to the Dutch embassy in Vietnam for the first time, and saw that the land area of the Netherlands was even inferior to that of a province in China, while the development level of the Netherlands was much higher than that of Vietnam, which made her deeply feel the huge gap between the Netherlands and China.
For her, this kind of spiritual impact and gap is too big, so she can't accept it, and she can't let go, so she has such a long period of emotional catharsis, and I, as her closest person, naturally know everything about it, so I patiently guided and comforted her, so that she could adjust her emotional state as soon as possible.
Through this little thing, I have a deeper sense of how magical and rich the cultural differences between countries are, which also makes me more determined to go abroad, personally feel the customs of different countries, to understand their culture and history, I believe that such an international exchange experience will definitely benefit people a lot, but also to have a broader international vision, for the promotion of friendly relations between different countries is also of great significance.
