Since the beginning of this year, Taoyuan Town has focused on the needs of residents and safety management, actively promoted the sinking of smart charging piles into the community, and wrote social responsibility with practical actions. On the one hand, through the grid staff to increase the intensity of visits and inspections, on the number of electric vehicles and charging problems of household surveys, listen to the opinions of the masses, establish a demand account, and actively guide the owners in accordance with the requirements of safety specifications to eliminate flying wire charging, carts upstairs, people and vehicles in the same house and other safety hazards; On the other hand, based on the principle of creating a "3-minute safe charging circle", we will fully explore the idle small area of residential buildings, study and judge the construction site of charging piles, and raise funds to speed up the construction to ensure that the masses can benefit as soon as possible.
As of March 2024, 25 new carports and 38 electric vehicle charging piles in 8 communities in Taoyuan Town have been completed and accepted and put into normal use, benefiting 8,000 residents in the community. At the same time, each community has also established a normalized management mechanism, arranged staff to regularly check the operation of equipment, and guided residents to develop the habit of civilized charging and parking. The implementation of the smart charging pile project has effectively reduced fire hazards and created a clean and environmentally friendly travel environment for the community and residents.
