On July 1, the Etuoke Qianqi Market Supervision and Administration Bureau and the Banner Procuratorate carried out a special inspection of the safety around the campus.
Law enforcement officers carried out inspections of three stationery and food sales market entities in the vicinity of the two schools, and strictly investigated illegal business activities that endangered the physical and mental health of minors, such as operating without a license, selling tobacco products to minors, as well as illegally selling "cigarette cards", "three nos" products, counterfeit and shoddy products, vulgar and violent packaging products, and illegal publications related to pornography and violence. At the same time, publicize the "Law on the Protection of Minors" and the laws and regulations related to the "Sword and Buds" and "Anti-Pornography and Anti-Illegal" special actions to operators, remind merchants not to blindly follow the trend of selling "Internet celebrity" products, put an end to "three nos" products, and require operators to post a warning "prohibiting the sale of tobacco and alcohol to minors" in a conspicuous position in the store, urging operators to raise their awareness of responsibility, earnestly perform their main responsibilities, and operate in good faith and law-abiding.
After inspection, no violations of laws and regulations have been found. In the next step, the Etuoke Qianqi Market Supervision and Administration Bureau will continue to increase the investigation and rectification of the surrounding areas of the campus, earnestly carry out the "seedling protection" action, effectively protect the rights and interests of minors, and optimize the environment for the healthy growth of minors.
