The Future Computer Education Summit is a brand conference in the field of computer education initiated by CCF, with the goal of building a vane of computer education in the next ten years, featuring the discussion of talents in the field of computer, and has had a wide range of social impact since it was held in 2017.
This year, the CCF Future Computer Education Summit (FCES2024) will be held in Shenyang, Liaoning Province from July 25 to 27. With the theme of "Digital Development of Education", the summit was chaired by Zheng Weimin, CCF Fellow, former Chairman of CCF, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Professor of Tsinghua University. The summit is divided into principals' symposiums, keynote reports, opinion reports, CCF Outstanding Education Award Speech, sub-forums and other sections. It will focus on how to use digital technology to empower computer education, promote the integration and innovation of disciplines, and cultivate innovative talents who adapt to the information society.

Rector's Closed-door Symposium
Generative AI is maturing day by day, providing an inexhaustible impetus for improving the quality and efficiency of productivity factors. This important scientific and technological change has brought new opportunities and challenges to the structure, means and methods of personnel training. How to promote the teaching reform, reshaping the form of education, optimizing the professional connotation, and comprehensive digital transformation of higher education, how to strengthen the collaborative cultivation of the two new basic production factors of talent and data, and how to build an AI+ talent training model that meets the requirements of the development of new quality productivity are all important issues facing computer education in the future.
The symposium was presided over by Professor Wang Xingwei, CCF Fellow, Vice President of Northeastern University and Dean of the School of Computer Science, with the theme of "AI+ Talent Training Model for New Quality Productivity", to carry out extensive exchanges and discussions on talent training models under the new situation. More than 20 experts and scholars from all over the country, including Pan Yishan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and secretary of the Party Committee of Liaoning University, Shi Yuanchun, CCF fellow, executive director and president of Qinghai University, Xu Yong, vice president of South China University of Technology, and Zhou Aoying, CCF fellow, executive director and former vice president of East China Normal University, will gather together to discuss the future of computer education.
