"In today's exhibition, I'm here to hand in my homework, and this is the moment when the air roots return to the ground." - No one expected that the air roots returned to the ground, and heavy rain fell. That rain is the rain that we are waiting for.
Mr. Qiu Zhijie was full of interest, from the rain in the open air to the indoor exhibition hall, we followed him and came to the dizzying Qiu Zhijie art journey.
I read his "Old Soul" solo exhibition on my mobile phone, only half of it, my heart has already been impressed, a young and interesting old soul can be seen across the screen, no, jumping in front of me, he is holding a microphone and talking, the strong nostalgia of the southern Fujian country has not changed, the nostalgia of the old man who went to the empty building a hundred meters away, Huang Yongping only needs to say "Are you back?" "Thousands of miles back to the hometown to ...... Frankness, self-confidence, unstoppable thinking, and overflowing talent.
Qiu Zhijie was once the pride of Zhangzhou No. 1 Middle School, but he was also the descendant of the Qiu family in Xin'an, Haicang, Xiamen, and had an inseparable relationship with Xiamen and Gulangyu. It is also because of this fate that there is the return exhibition of Gulangyu Academy of Fine Arts - Qiu Zhijie's "Old Soul" solo exhibition.
The roots are connected, the roots are deep-rooted, the branches are luxuriant, the walls are broken, and the single tree becomes a forest, which is the tenacity of the vitality of the banyan tree, and the vastness of the mind of the banyan tree, and the life image and spiritual totem of Qiu Zhijie teacher. Qiu Zhijie called it "Old Soul".
I never thought that poetry and geography could express each other so seamlessly, from "The Poetry of the Yellow River" to "The Poetry of the Yangtze River", from "The water of the Yellow River comes from the sky and flows to the sea and never returns", to "The Xiangjiang River is warm and the spring comes to the green Shu Road, and the clouds are sunny after the snow opens", from "Sauvignon Blanc, in Chang'an", to "A lifetime of obsession, no dream to Huizhou"...... The winding arteries, densely packed capillaries, the geography of mountains and rivers, and the poetry and songs can be so fleshy and fleshy, and the time and space are intertwined. The macro and the micro, the spirit and the soul, are never separated.
The vast map of black tea, green tea, white tea, yellow tea, dark tea, rock tea, oolong tea, and Pu'er tea makes it undoubted that China is a country of tea. The long scrolls of modern green landscapes interpreted by calligraphy, ink and color make people feel refreshed and linger.
The porcelain plates are rotating, ten, Y-shaped, and when they rotate to a specific angle, they form a river, or a river, from the source to the mouth of the sea, the river is endless, endless.
"Shangyuan Lantern Project" is a copy, a bystander, a historical cycle theory, and a view and a view. Those faces are always there, those characters have never changed, Jiang Taigong and Yuan Shikai's magnet fishing rods, all they catch are golden keys.
The archaeological pit is the excavation of memories, kissing skeletons, self-powerful shells in the sea, insects, fish, birds and beasts, which look like bronze reliefs, but are actually paper sculptures. You can caress it, but you can't use too much force, because ancient creatures need gentle care.
Qiu Zhijie said that in order to "please" young people, "The World Speaks New Language" is a series of combined words assembled into a new Internet stalk, "are too precocious minds in the new world of open-minded games." ”。
But what makes the audience stop and queue up the most is a large number of turntables, you can gently push, the combination of different words, can extend infinite imagination, can decompress, can make up stories, can laugh, can believe the truth, can be used as a mind map.
At the end of the exhibition hall is the "Twenty-Four Poems" written in upside down calligraphy. In my layman's eyes, it is hard to imagine how a word that grows backwards can cling to its soul?

How does tradition combine with modernity? Qiu Zhijie's solo exhibition offers many possibilities. Poetry and poetry are integrated with the humanities of mountains and rivers, vertical and horizontal, green out of blue, and innovation. Calligraphy, painting, paper sculpture, ceramics, installations...... Tradition and experimentation are combined.
Only with profound humanistic heritage and philosophical cultivation can we be so talented and hearty. Cultural self-confidence and international exchange are possible. This is Qiu Zhijie's strength and charm, as well as the gene and foundation of Gulangyu, which can be realized and pursued in Gulangyu Academy of Fine Arts.
