After investigation, the police learned that Huang was a five-guarantee household, a native of Wucheng Town, with financial difficulties at home, his wife was sick in bed, and his children worked outside all the year round. He raised more than 10 cattle that, due to poor management, often ran to the mountains to graze on crops. Chen from Zhuzhuang Town and Huang from Wucheng Town are neighbors of neighboring villages and fields, so corn seedlings are eaten from time to time.

In the end, witnessed by the police, the two parties signed a mediation agreement, clarifying the amount of compensation and the time limit for performance.
