The Fangtang Expressway Project is an important part of the "13445 Project" of Henan Provincial Expressway, which will become a traffic artery connecting Henan and Hubei provinces after completion, further improving the layout of Henan Province's expressway network, strengthening the connection between the Central Plains urban agglomeration and the urban agglomeration in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, optimizing the regional economic layout, and improving people's livelihood and well-being.

The box girder of the main bridge adopts the whole bracket cast-in-situ, and the weight of each rotating box girder is 25,000 tons, and the total weight is 50,000 tons, which is the largest tonnage of the main canal across the middle line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project in China. ”
