On June 28, the opening ceremony of the 13th Yihe Sports Festival and the 2nd Yihe Carnival of Linyi City was held in Yihe New District, with the participation of Bian Feng, chairman of the CPPCC.
At the opening ceremony, the enthusiastic singing and dancing performances ignited the passion of the audience, and there were singing stars Zhao Zhitong and Zhang Haijun, football stars Feng Xiaoting, Li Xuepeng, Dong Xuesheng and Wang Junhui to help out, presenting a wonderful and unforgettable sports and cultural night for everyone.
The 13th Yihe Sports Festival and the 2nd Yihe Carnival will hold the 5th China Canoe Open and the 2024 National Canoe Sprint League Finals, China Powerboat Open, China Famous School Dragon Boat Invitational Race and other national events, as well as the "Chinese Dream Yimeng Love" Crossing Yihe River Grand Prix, "Red Yimeng" Canoe Marathon, "Paddle All Over Yimeng" Canoe League, "Red Yimeng" Motorboat Challenge and other mass independent brand events.
At the same time, from June 28th to July 18th, the Yihe Carnival will also be held in Dongyi Cultural Square, and in accordance with the idea of "sports +" integrated development, 85 national youth star football fun competitions, 3km mini run and other activities will be carried out. Relying on the advantages of Yihe water resources, Linyi has successfully held 12 Yihe Sports Festival, the integration of sports, culture and tourism has been deepened, and the brand awareness of "Yihe Sports" has continued to increase. The city will coordinate the "sports +" article, create a series of colorful activities of the Yihe Carnival, and build a sports, cultural and leisure platform for citizens and tourists.
