The two massive military patrols lasted for four days and encircled Taiwan one after another, putting considerable pressure on the Taiwan authorities. According to reports, during this patrol around Taiwan, 33 PLA military planes flew sideways over the "middle line of the strait" unilaterally drawn up by Taiwan, and Taiwan's defense department said to the outside world that it would closely monitor the movements of the mainland PLA and deal with necessary emergency measures. Obviously, with regard to the mainland's dispatch of military planes to conduct routine patrols in the Taiwan Strait, the Taiwan side can only build momentum with its voices, and the number and strength of the military planes and warships it sends are not enough for the mainland to contend with.
This military action by our army corresponds precisely to the mainland's official statement and attitude toward Taiwan. In response to Taiwan's "Chief of General Staff" Mejiashu's theory of "turning from evolution to war" to the mainland on 26 June, Senior Colonel Wu Chien of the mainland said at a regular news conference that our army's series of actions are not aimed at Taiwan itself, but directly at the anti-China forces in Taiwan, and that ordinary people need not be afraid.
Obviously, Senior Colonel Wu Qian's speech has made clear the mainland's principled stand on Taiwan and will never be lenient on the Taiwan independence forces, so why is the name of the Taiwan military directly elevated to the status of "Taiwan independence" armed forces? Obviously, this is inseparable from the political situation on the island.
Lai Ching-te, the leader of the Taiwan authorities, as a representative figure of the Democratic Progressive Party, came to power after Tsai Ing-wen stepped down, and it is not surprising that he inherited the Taiwan independence ideology of the previous leader in pursuing "democracy and independence" on the island; after he took office and made the classic "attitude speech," the relationship between the mainland and Taiwan fell to a freezing point for a time.
Of course, the Taiwan independence forces do not need to be too arrogant; since Lai Ching-te came to power, his popular election law has plummeted all the way because of his unnatural remarks and excessive friendship with the United States when he took office. The reason why the Taiwan authorities are so arrogant and dare to constantly provoke the mainland is because of the instigation of the United States.
From the United States sending Pelosi to visit Taiwan in 22 years to the United States selling a large number of weapons to Taiwan this year, the blurred political boundaries and stable military exports all show that the United States has been trying to push the Taiwan authorities to secede from the mainland in an attempt to train Taiwan to become a pawn to restrain the mainland's development. In the past, the Taiwan authorities were still indulging in the sweet dream of "democracy and independence." However, after US Admiral Paparo's "hellish landscape" remarks, the Taiwan authorities should soberly realize that they are nothing more than a small tool for the United States to pursue its hegemonic strategy in the Far East, and they do not care at all and even take the initiative to say that if the mainland wants to recover Taiwan by force, it will turn the Taiwan region into a purgatory on earth.
In addition, the appearance of US fighter planes in Taiwan waters was also directly "captured" by the mainland and expelled through strength, while the United States could only repeatedly test the mainland's bottom line but did not dare to take further action.
On the Taiwan issue, although the mainland will not give up the method of military reunification to take back Taiwan, it will not use this means lightly. Last month's Ren'ai Jiao incident between China and the Philippines showed the world that the mainland has sufficient strength to resist friction and can be snuffed out before it escalates. With regard to Taiwan, the mainland is very likely to adopt the strategy of "trapping Taiwan" by sending coast guard units to blockade Taiwan's waters and control the way of material entry and exit, without seeing a single artillery fire.
It is hoped that the Taiwan side will put an end to the thinking mode of jumping off the beam clown at an early date, not vainly trying to rely on the United States, and that it is a good policy to return peacefully and help realize the great cause of the motherland's reunification.
