The project department seized the golden construction season in autumn and winter, took a good step, made a good start, raced against time on the premise of ensuring safety and quality, mobilized all employees of the mechanical profession to work together at the crane installation site, and finally successfully completed the important node of "#9锅炉钢结构开吊" on December 15, 2023.

The first large plate beam of the No. 9 boiler
A total of 5 large plate beams of the boiler of the project, the first K1 plate girder, 39.300 meters long, 0.81 meters wide, 2.7 meters high, the total weight of hoisting 30.5 tons, hoisting in place height of 88.1 meters, arranged on the top floor of the boiler frame, in order to ensure the safe hoisting of the first large slab girder, the project department prepared the hoisting plan in advance, held a meeting on construction safety, quality and technical disclosure, carried out special inspections on the hoisting operation, seized the opportunity to promote the hoisting progress of the boiler steel structure, and ensured that the hoisting operation process was safe, stable and orderly. The first large slab girder of the No. 9 boiler of the project was successfully hoisted into place on May 15, 2024, marking a new stage of boiler installation as a whole.

The first π-type arrangement secondary reheat boiler in the company's history was welded on the heating surface
Boiler No. 9 is the first π-type arrangement secondary reheat boiler installed in the history of our company, and it is also the 19th million-kilowatt boiler installed by our company. The heating surface of this welding is the water wall of the left wall of the upper vertical section, the specification is Φ35×9, the material is 12Cr1MoVG, and all welds are welded by full argon arc. In order to ensure the smooth welding of the heating surface, the project department made sufficient preparations before the welding, and successively completed the cleaning and planning of the composite platform site, the erection of the combined frame, the appearance inspection of the pipe row, the size review, the alignment, the ball through the pipe row, the spectrum review and other work. Finally, the first weld of No. 9 boiler was successfully welded at 14:18 on June 19, 2024.

No. 9 boiler heating surface hoisting
The hoisting pipe screen is a water wall in the vertical section on the left, which is hoisted by a FZQ3200 tower crane. In order to ensure the safe hoisting of the vertical section of the water wall, the Beilun project department attaches great importance to it, organizes the mechanical and boiler professional teams to demonstrate the hoisting plan, and conducts a comprehensive inspection of the hoisting machinery and the water wall hoisting device. Finally, the No. 9 boiler heating surface tube screen will be hoisted on June 25, 2024. Favorable conditions were created for the subsequent hydraulic test of No. 9 boiler.
Forge ahead and pay close attention to quality technology
Since the start of construction of the Beilun project, the project department has been putting the project quality control in the first place, establishing and improving the quality assurance system and supervision system, and decomposing and passing the quality responsibility layer by layer in accordance with the company's "flat" management requirements, so as to ensure the implementation of the project quality objectives and steadily promote the work of project excellence.
On the same day, the No. 9 furnace completed 38 water-cooled wall welds on the left side of the vertical section, and the first welding of the heating surface got off to a good start. Up to now, all welds are 100% qualified after 100% radiographic inspection, and all weld radiographic inspection negatives are Class I. films, and the excellent weld appearance process and internal quality have been highly praised by the owners and supervisors, which has made a good start for the subsequent boiler heating surface welding.

Application of automatic welding technology in construction
In order to improve the welding efficiency of this kind of large-diameter circular air duct under the premise of ensuring the welding quality, the project department adopts the method of submerged arc welding automatic welding in the production process of circulating water pipe in the previous project, that is, through technological innovation, the frequency conversion welding swing is installed on the basis of the pipeline flame automatic cutting machine, and the welding torch is installed on the welding swinger. The swing frequency of the welding gun is controlled by the frequency conversion welding swinger, and the automatic welding of the machine is realized, and the welding efficiency is more than 3 times that of manual welding, and the width and narrowness of the weld and the residual height are consistent, and the weld is beautifully formed.
In order to ensure the welding quality of the site, the welding machine of the on-site welding supervised weld must be installed with a welding current monitoring device, which can monitor the welding current of the welding machine online in real time, when the welding current exceeds the set value, it will send an alarm through the wireless network, and the welding management personnel can view the current of each welding machine in real time through the mobile phone APP, and effectively urge the welders to abide by the welding process discipline through scientific and technological means.
