On July 19, Lin Jidong, member of the Standing Committee and deputy head of the Erdao District Committee of Changchun City, Jilin Province, led a team to Honghuagang District of Zunyi City to inspect the work of veterans' affairs. Zhang Yunqiao, deputy mayor of Honghuagang District, accompanied the inspection.
The delegation successively went to the community veterans service station of the Old Town Street Memorial Hall and the Honghuagang District Veterans Service Center to fully understand the good experience and practices of our district in the construction of the service guarantee system for veterans through on-site visits and briefings, and conducted in-depth exchanges on specific work such as preferential care, resettlement, employment and entrepreneurship of veterans.
The inspection team fully affirmed the work ideas, working methods and results achieved in the construction of the service guarantee system for veterans in our region, and said that they would take this visit and study as an opportunity to conscientiously sum up experience, learn from advanced work models, and promote the high-quality development of veterans' affairs in Erdao District in combination with reality. At the same time, the two sides agreed that they will further strengthen communication and exchanges, summarize and refine advanced experiences and typical practices, learn from each other, learn from each other's strong points, adapt measures to local conditions and innovate measures, explore work models that are in line with local realities, actively promote the extension of cooperation in veterans' affairs between the two places to the grass-roots level, provide more intimate and accurate services for the vast number of veterans, and strive to create a new situation in the work of veterans in the new era.
