"When the rain falls on the eaves and tiles, I miss my parents from afar, and wait until the hot summer vacation to go south with the local accent ......" In Shenzhen, there are many "strangers", especially practitioners in the new industry. In order to provide better living conditions for their families, they came to another city to struggle. During the holidays, many children of migrant workers who stay in their hometowns come to the city where their parents work, like "little migratory birds" migrating back and forth, to reunite with their parents after a long absence.
On July 11th, Guan Shanyue Art Museum and SF Express Co., Ltd. jointly launched the "Long Wind Tens of Thousands of Miles - Little Migratory Birds Pengcheng Flying" Art Tour to Care for the Children of New Business Workers, inviting dozens of express delivery industry practitioners to Shenzhen to participate in parent-child art activities at the art museum and spend a good summer time. Combined with the "Long Wind Tens of Thousands of Miles: Guan Shanyue and Modern Landscape Poetic Painting Exhibition" being exhibited at Guan Shanyue Art Museum, the event provides a colorful summer life experience for "migratory bird children" through art tours, on-site copying, national style check-ins and other rich forms, and further narrows the parent-child relationship between "little migratory birds" and their parents.
Fun check-in
At 2 o'clock in the afternoon of the same day, the art tour of "Long Wind Tens of Thousands of Miles - Little Migratory Birds Pengcheng Flying" was held in the VIP hall on the first floor and the exhibition hall on the second floor of the art museum. The express delivery industry practitioners and children who participated in the event were very excited, and they had already signed in advance at 12 o'clock. The children put on Hanfu and walked into the exhibition hall under the guidance of the museum's professionals, listened to professional art explanations, learned about the stories behind the artworks, and experienced the charm of traditional Chinese culture up close.
Professional guide
At the event, the artist shared his childhood experience of entering the art museum with the children, encouraging them to strengthen their ideals and pursue their dreams. Chen Junyu, deputy director of Guan Shanyue Art Museum, shared his own growth experience, when he was a child, his grandparents just came to Shenzhen and often took him to visit the art museum, and slowly, he fell in love with art and embarked on the road of professional art. The children also boldly expressed their future dreams, and the children's words caused a lot of laughter.
Subsequently, the children came to the exhibition hall on the third floor to complete their own unique artworks with their parents through on-site copying, DIY creation, and paper fans.
At the end of the event, the organizer specially invited artists to be present to make brief comments and interactive sharing of each child's work, and give customized gifts and snack packs. Holding their own artworks, the children smiled happily in front of the check-in wall.
According to the organizers, the event aims to provide a unique art experience for "migratory bird children" and improve their appreciation of art and cultural literacy. Through the integration of various resources, the power of love is gathered, and the care and protection of "migratory bird children" are increased in terms of thought leadership, safety education, health care, and emotional comfort.
