The first pole of the catenary of Xikang high-speed railway was successfully assembled, marking the full launch of the "four electricity" project after the Xikang high-speed rail station.
On July 12, at Zhen'an West Station in Zhen'an County, Shaanxi Province, the first pole of the Xikang high-speed railway catenary was successfully assembled, marking the full launch of the "four electrics" project after the Xikang high-speed rail station, and laying a solid foundation for the Xikang high-speed railway to open and operate on schedule.
The "four electrics" project is the general name of the communication, signal, electric power and electric traction power supply projects in the construction of high-speed rail, and is the "central brain" and power source of the entire high-speed railway. A total of 8,974 catenary pillars need to be erected, 462.15 kilometers of bearing lines will be erected, and 4 330kV traction substations will be built in the "four electrics" project behind the Xikang high-speed railway station.
It is understood that at present, the overall progress of Xikang high-speed railway is smooth, and 5 tunnels have been broken through in front of the station, with a total of 80.69% of the excavation completed, 61% of the bridge completed, and 42% of the roadbed.
Xikang high-speed railway is an important part of the national medium and long-term railway network planning "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed rail corridors in the package (silver) sea channel and Beijing-Kunming channel, with a design speed of 350 km/h, with 6 stations in Xi'an East, Taihe, Zhashui West, Zhen'anxi, Tongmu and Ankang West. After the completion and opening of traffic, the running time of the Xi'an-Ankang railway will be shortened from about 3 hours to less than 1 hour.
