What is the experience of helping the community "bring a baby"? The Fourth Good Neighbor Center of Yanji Xincun Street Community and the Chuangzhifang Good Neighbor Center of Wujiaochang Street, as the "clubhouse" at the doorstep of the community's multi-resource interaction, explore the advantages of the hub platform of the community Good Neighbor Center, unite and tap the co-construction units and caring people in the community, solve problems for the community's summer parent-child families, and inject fresh factors into the community.
Traditional Chinese painting, depicting a "summer"
At the beginning of the holiday, in the Fourth Good Neighbor Center of Yanji Xincun Street Community, Shao Hua, a "master of Chinese painting", carried out a Chinese painting course, which was deeply loved by children and parents.
This year, Shao Hua taught a series of courses on landscape painting, allowing children to independently complete their own ink painting and make the painting into a unique table lamp. Although traditional landscape paintings are dominated by ink, color embellishments are also often used to highlight the main points. Shao Hua encouraged the children to use color boldly and form their own style of works, which have both traditional techniques and innovative colors.
The children listened carefully to the class, created boldly, and showed childlike fun with one hook and one dye, and the shade of dry and wet was frank. In the course, everyone felt more and more the charm of traditional Chinese culture, and deepened their perception and experience of beauty.
Under the guidance of the teacher, the children made their own paintings into table lamp shades, and also incorporated unique ingenuity and creativity, which surprised the parents. One parent said, "This kind of activity is very meaningful, not only cultivating children's interest in art, but also enhancing the cohesion of the community." ”
Stand on tiptoe and grow towards the sun
During the summer vacation, the multi-purpose hall of the KIC Good Neighbor Center in Wujiaochang Street is often filled with children's laughter and soft music. Huang Nan, a "ballet expert" in the community, brought elegant ballet lessons to the children.
The social workers of the KIC Community Good Neighbor Center actively worked with community ballet expert Huang Nan to design the "Stand on Your Toes and Grow to the Sun" summer activity to provide a safe, healthy and fulfilling summer environment for children and alleviate the summer care problems of families in the surrounding communities.
The program runs throughout the summer and is mainly for children aged 5-12 in the community. The course content is rich and colorful, including basic ballet training, dance performance rehearsals, teamwork games, etc. Children will also have a regular mini-dance debriefing to showcase their learning.
As soon as the activity was launched, it was warmly welcomed by the parents around it. Ms. Li, a parent, said, "My child is looking forward to going to class every day, and when he comes back, he will take the initiative to practice his dance moves. "The children are also enthusiastic about the lessons. Miao Miao, a child, said, "I have never been exposed to ballet before, but now I find it fun to dance and make a lot of new friends." ”
Huang Nan said that she is happy to be able to contribute to the community through her professional knowledge, "I am very pleased to see the children confidently present on stage. I hope that there will be more opportunities like this in the future to bring more joy to the children in the community. ”
