Recently, the typical construction of underwater reef explosion in the operation area under the Wangcun dam in the No1 bid section of the Guijiang Waterway Project (Majiang to Lianhua Bridge Section) undertaken by the Third Company of CCCC First Harbor Bureau was officially launched.
The total length of the Guijiang River waterway project is about 66.58 kilometers, which is divided into two operation areas, the upper and lower Wangcun dams, and the underwater reef blasting project volume is about 363,000 cubic meters. Among them, the underwater reef explosion volume in the operation area under the Wangcun dam is 282,000 cubic meters, accounting for 78% of the total reef explosion volume.
In the face of unfavorable factors such as the complex surrounding blasting environment, the high flow rate of the river surface, and the frequent navigation of social vessels, the Guijiang Waterway Project Department set up an external communication and coordination group to conduct a detailed investigation of the residents around the blasting, and ensure the smooth progress of the typical construction of underwater reefs through optimization measures such as reasonable arrangement of on-site ships and engines and control of the amount of blasting construction agents.
