"Tourists, the attractions you are currently going to are located on the first line of the border, please do not climb over the barbed wire ......fence at will" Recently, next to a farmhouse along G331 National Highway in Changbai Korean Autonomous County, a police drone equipped with a loudspeaker hovered over the sky to promote the precautions for border tourism to many tourists who came to play here.
Changbai Mountain in July, one step at a time, many tourists come all the way to "check in" here and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Behind the lively scene of the border tour, the police of the 21st Ditch Border Checkpoint of the Baishan Border Management Detachment formed a solid barrier to protect the lives and property of many tourists.
"Police drones have a wide high-altitude field of vision and flexible perspectives, which can accurately control some special areas, and also have functions such as high-altitude shouting, auxiliary security, crowd guidance, and fixed-point patrol." Fu Dawei, the head of the border checkpoint, introduced to everyone. The use of police drones to carry out patrols, security and other services is a microcosm of the station's active exploration of the "air-ground integration" patrol prevention and control policing model, and it is also a vivid practice of using scientific and technological means to weave a dense security network in border jurisdictions.
Not long ago, the border checkpoint received a report from the masses that an elderly man had accidentally gone missing in the "no man's land" mountain forest because he was unfamiliar with the road conditions when he went up the mountain to pick wild vegetables. After receiving the alarm, the police immediately rushed to the scene of the incident with rescue equipment.
The mountain roads are rugged, the jungle is dense, and the sight is dim...... The complex geographical environment and dark light conditions brought many challenges to the rescue. After arriving at the scene, the police quickly formulated a search and rescue plan, and divided the team into a ground search and rescue group and a drone data collection group according to the needs of the task. The ground search and rescue team carried out a "dragnet" patrol and search and rescue with search and rescue dogs, Beidou locators, and electronic maps, and the drone data group used the images transmitted by the thermal imaging drone to continue to warn the ground search and rescue team. Through the close cooperation of thermal imaging infrared drones and electronic maps, the police successfully found the trapped elderly in a mountain nest in less than 1 hour, the old man had no other external injuries except for an ankle sprain, and after a simple bandage, the police sent him to the hospital for treatment.
In recent years, on the basis of carrying out border control work on a regular basis, the station has vigorously promoted the application of scientific and technological equipment, continuously accelerated the generation of combat effectiveness, and gradually explored a "air-ground integration" patrol prevention and control police model suitable for front-line border law enforcement. This model has played an outstanding role in mobile inspection, remote rescue, and collaborative operations, and has effectively realized the police handling mode of "one-point touch, multi-point response, and coordinated operation", making police work more efficient, service level more high-quality, and border front line more stable.
