In the middle of summer, mung bean soup is an essential drink to quench heat and thirst, and is deeply loved by the people. In order to further care for the residents of the community, recently, the Xima Road Community and the Organization Department of the County Party Committee, the County Party Committee Office, and the County Supply and Marketing Cooperative, jointly built the unit, carried out the "Summer Heat Stroke Prevention · Cool into the Grid" activity in the Zishan Grid, sending a "coolness" to the residents in the jurisdiction.
Early in the morning, the staff of the Xima Road community boiled a pot of mung bean soup early. In the courtyard of the old supply and marketing cooperative, volunteers dressed in uniform and smiling, handed cups of mung bean soup and slices of watermelon to residents. These mung bean soups are bright in color and fragrant, not only quenching thirst and heat, but also carrying the deep friendship of the community to the residents. Residents took the mung bean soup, some of them tasted it on the spot, and some of them carefully carried it home to share with their families. Both adults and children expressed their heartfelt gratitude and love for this coolness from the community.
In addition, the volunteers also intimately packed for the elderly with limited mobility, and the party members delivered them to the door one by one. At the scene, residents were also distributed traditional Chinese medicine health manuals and drowning prevention leaflets, and community students were organized to carry out drowning prevention knowledge competitions to build a strong safety line against drowning.
