As one of the most popular beverage ingredients, "sea buckthorn" is increasingly entering the attention of consumers, and it can even be seen in milk tea. From FY2021 to FY2023, the astronauts' revenues were $147 million, $186 million and $220 million, respectively.
According to the astronaut prospectus, the founder of the Inner Mongolia astronaut is a 68-year-old "veteran" Xing Guoliang. Xing Guoliang entered the Inner Mongolia Chemical Machinery Factory after graduation and was promoted to factory director all the way. In 1993, Xing Guoliang discovered the research topics related to sea buckthorn and used high and new technology to develop and build the sea buckthorn industry. Now, Xing Guoliang is leading astronauts to the capital market and preparing to be listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to the disclosure of the prospectus, Xing Guoliang and Tianqu Biotech controlled by him hold 14.67% and 30.46% of the shares of Astronaut respectively.
"FMCG" found that Astronaut has a diversified product portfolio, 39 products include beverages and puree to health food, the best-selling product is Astronaut V9 Sea Buckthorn Fresh Juice Sea Buckthorn Juice Drink, the price is 49.9 yuan, and the monthly sales have exceeded 3,000. In addition to nationwide sales in China, the products are sold to a total of 11 other countries or regions, including Japan, Malaysia, Germany and Korea.
