In the past, all administrative villages in the Xiasi area were supplied by a single village project, and the construction period was relatively early, the water control technology was relatively backward, and the water quality and quantity were not very stable. In order to solve these problems, the city will start bidding for the implementation of the Qiucun No. 2 Water Plant pipe network extension project to the Xiasi area from 2023, and after the completion of the project, the Xiasi area will be supplied by the Qiucun No. 2 Water Plant, and the water quality will be greatly improved.

In recent years, our city has taken the integration of urban and rural water supply as an opportunity to vigorously carry out the rural water supply network renovation project, and gradually realize the "one network" of urban and rural water supply, so that urban and rural residents can drink "assured water".

This year, our city will be ready to invest 100 million yuan to organize the implementation of 15 rural water supply network projects such as the reconstruction of Yangtan Water Plant, two projects have been completed, and other projects are being carried out one after another.
The reporter learned that after the completion of all 15 projects, the city's rural tap water penetration rate can reach 98%, and the water supply scope will further cover 9 towns and towns in the city, and 150,000 rural people will enjoy "assured water".
