United States was previously kept in the dark, and Saudi Arabia and Iran achieved reconciliation in Beijing. Now, China has done two more important things in one go.
First, from 21 to 23 July, 14 Palestinian political factions held a reconciliation dialogue in Beijing, culminating in the signing of the Beijing Declaration on ending division and strengthening Palestinian unity.
To put it bluntly, China has once again proved one thing to the world with concrete actions, that is, China is a true promoter of peace. At the same time, the Israel Prime Minister's visit to the United States to seek military support is also in sharp contrast to the great reconciliation achieved by Palestinian political forces in China.

With the realization of great national unity in Palestine, the Palestinian-Israeli ceasefire has ushered in a ray of light. According to Israeli media, in order to reach a ceasefire agreement with Hamas, Israeli troops may temporarily withdraw their troops from Gaza.
Second, at the invitation of Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Foreign Minister Kuleba of Ukraine visited China from July 23 to 26. Combined with Zelensky's public call for Putin peace talks, Ukraine is determined to promote a ceasefire this time. In response, the Kremlin said that the most important thing for the Russian side is Sino-Russian relations.
In fact, with Biden's announcement of his withdrawal from the election, the Russia-Ukraine conflict has also ushered in a turning point. Trump's position is very clear, and in a phone call with Zelensky, he made a clear promise to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict after taking office.
Putin, Zelensky
At this point, the situation between Russia and Ukraine is very clear. Zelensky no longer has expectations for United States, and he knows very well that after Trump takes office, he will most likely be pushed out by the West, so it is better to find a way out for himself in advance, and China has become the key to his change of fate. If, under the impetus of China, the reconciliation between Russia and Ukraine is successfully achieved, then Zelensky still has a glimmer of life.
Foreign Minister Wang Yi will attend the China-ASEAN (10+1) Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the ASEAN-China-Japan-ROK (10+3) Foreign Ministers' Meeting, the East Asia Summit Foreign Ministers' Meeting and the ASEAN Regional Forum Foreign Ministers' Meeting in Laos from July 25 to 27, and pay an official visit to Laos.
In fact, both the United States and Japan are now busy building relations with China and want to meet with Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the ASEAN meeting.
Foreign Ministers of China and the United States
On May 22, Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with a delegation led by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the US-China Business Council, Mr. Rui Sibo, in Beijing. The Chinese side pointed out that any attempt to change China is futile, and hopes that the US-China Business Council will make more objective, positive and rational voices to promote the establishment of a correct understanding of China in the United States.
On the same day, the United States State Department said that Blinken is expected to hold talks with his Chinese counterpart on the sidelines of the ASEAN meeting.
At the same time, Japan's political circles are visiting China, and the Chinese high-level officials met with Wan Umieda, vice speaker of the House of Representatives of the Japan Diet, and Hiroshi Moriyama, chairman of the General Affairs Committee of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan. At the same time, China and Japan are also holding a "strategic dialogue" at the level of vice foreign ministers in Tokyo. Japanese media pointed out that the Kishida government hopes to use the relevant ASEAN meeting to achieve the meeting of Chinese and Japanese foreign ministers.
Foreign Minister of China and Russia
It is not difficult to guess why the United States and Japan are intensively engaged with China. As the United States election approaches, the Biden administration hopes to avoid China and the United States from misfire, manage their differences to the greatest extent, and set up safety guardrails for the two countries; Japan, on the other hand, is worried about Trump coming to power and wants to adjust Sino-Japanese relations to respond.
Of course, there are other things to watch at the ASEAN meeting. First, the current provocations by the Philippines are a window to observe China's handling of the situation in the South China Sea.
Second, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will also attend the meeting, so you can see what interactions China and Russia have, and whether the Chinese and Russian foreign ministers will exchange views on the Russia-Ukraine peace talks.
