In the summer of 2023, Bentley Motors has unveiled three Speed Edition 12 limited edition models, namely the Bentley Bentayga, Continental GTC and Flying Spur, each limited to 120 units. It is equipped with a 6.0T W12 twin-turbo engine with a maximum power of 635 hp and a peak torque of 900 Nm·.

When the W12 engine is discontinued, every model range under the Bentley brand will include a plug-in hybrid option. Bentley Motors is accelerating the implementation of its Beyond 100 strategy, which aims to electrify all Bentley models by 2030, and is now focusing on its V8 and V6 hybrid ranges.

The all-new V8 plug-in hybrid system has been installed in Bentley's new Continental Extreme model, with a maximum power of 782 hp, a peak torque of 1,000 Nm·m, an official top speed of 335 km/h, and a pure electric range of 80 km in WLTP mode.

Compared to the previous W12-powered Continental GT, the new car's powertrain torque has increased by more than 11%, from 900 N·m to 1,000 N·m. System power has also increased by 19 percent, from 659 to 782 horsepower. This makes the new Continental GT Extreme the most powerful Bentley ever built, surpassing the power levels of the second-generation Supersports and Batur.
