In order to enrich the summer vacation life of minors and further give play to the role model of "good teenagers in the new era", the Beichen District Family Education Guidance Center and the Ruijing Street Women's Federation of Beichen District jointly held the "Sharing Growth and Building Dreams Together" learning exchange and sharing meeting for good teenagers.
Dong Yiwen, an outstanding junior high school graduate of Tianjin No. 1 Middle School, and his mother were invited to the Jiangnan Chunse Community of Ruijing Street to share excellent learning methods and advanced educational concepts through offline and online live broadcasts.
Dong Yiwen, who has won the honors of "Good Boy in the New Era" and "Municipal Outstanding Student" in Heping District, vividly explained his learning skills and experience in Chinese, mathematics, English, history and other subjects based on his own learning experience.
Dong Yiwen's mother shared with parents how to communicate with their children in family education, guide them to develop good habits, cultivate their children's correct outlook on life, and how to give their children support and encouragement.
In the interactive exchange session, the students actively asked questions about the confusion they encountered in their study and life, and Dong Yiwen enthusiastically shared good methods such as setting learning goals, effective time management, preview and review, and pre-exam mentality adjustment.
This sharing session allowed the participating children to acquire practical learning methods, feel the power of role models, and enhance their confidence and motivation to learn. Many students said that they would apply what they have learned to their future studies, strive to improve their own quality, and become pillars of the motherland in the future. Parents also said that family education does affect the growth and future of children, and parents should learn to listen patiently and give children the space to think and live independently, so as to cultivate children's ability to be independent and self-judged.
