Overlooking the Zoige Plateau, as the main distribution area of the continental alpine wetlands, the Zoige Plateau is an important ecological barrier of the country, but it is facing the challenges of biodiversity loss and weakening of wetland services. Due to the long-term lack of systematic research and monitoring, the region's scientific and technological innovation capacity and sustainable development technology research and development are relatively weak. Ruoergai Station will adopt an interdisciplinary and cross-departmental research approach to actively carry out monitoring, research and experimental demonstration of the conservation and sustainable use of alpine wetland ecosystems.
