Western Canada has been hit by wildfires in recent days. In the area of Jasper, a tourist town in Alberta, about 25,000 residents and tourists were forced to evacuate early on the 24th, and 358 houses in the town were burned down. An official of the Canada Park Administration said on the 27th that the fire was the largest fire in the Jasper National Park area in a hundred years and may burn for several months.
