With the intercity railway, "Greater Bay Area Line 1", which was put into operation at the end of May this year, the intercity railway in the Bay Area has set off a wave of citizens traveling to Panyu through "intercity + tourism". In this context, on the evening of July 27, the "Intercity to Panyu, Pop - 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Pop Music Night" event was successfully held in Xiongfeng City, Panyu District, under the guidance of the Guangdong Pop Music Association and supported by the United Front Work Department of the Panyu District Party Committee and other units.
At the event, under the joint witness of the leading guests, the Guangdong Pop Music Association officially awarded Xiongfeng City the plaque of "Guangdong Pop Music Association Activity Base". The settlement of the activity base in Xiongfeng City represents the affirmation of the Provincial Association of Circulation for Xiongfeng City to actively promote the development of pop music in the Greater Bay Area, and it is also hoped that Xiongfeng City will practice the integrated development of culture, business and tourism and embark on a new characteristic development path. In the future, the Guangdong Pop Music Association will work hand in hand with Xiongfeng City to jointly promote the prosperity and development of pop music and contribute more to the integration of culture and tourism in the Greater Bay Area.
Music is not only the interweaving of melody and rhythm, but also the touch of the heart and the transmission of warmth. Xiongfeng City, together with Ren Yongquan, member of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, national golden microphone host, and founder of Ren Yongquan Studio of Guangdong Radio and Television, launched a series of public welfare projects, including the Xiongfeng Dream Realization Plan, the exclusive title of Xiongfeng City "Almighty Little Famous Mouth Research Institute", and the "Cultural Public Welfare Space" of Ren Yongquan Studio of Guangdong Radio and Television Station stationed in Xiongfeng City. Under the call of the Guangdong Pop Music Association, pop music organizations from three places and six cities in the Greater Bay Area responded positively, including Guangzhou Pop Music Association, Foshan Pop Music Association, Hong Kong Committee of Guangdong Pop Music Association, Macau Performing Artists Association, Shenzhen Pop Music Association and Dongguan Pop Music Association. Throughout the evening, pop musicians from all over the Greater Bay Area took turns on stage and sang many original pop songs, including Macao's first girl group "ALL IN Fearless Girl", Macao singer-songwriter male singer Cai Guozhu, the 14th Chinese Golden Melody Awards "Best Folk Artist of the Year" Bai Lin, Guangdong outstanding musician Ji Guowei and other musicians all performed wonderfully.
The climax of the whole event was the finale performance of Ye Shirong, a member of the Beyond band. The shocking interpretation of eternal classics such as "Like You", "Really Love You", "Sea and Sky", "Glorious Years" awakened everyone's youthful memories, and even triggered a chorus of the audience, and the atmosphere was instantly full.
