The tongue is connected to the five internal organs through the meridians, so the deficiency and reality of the human organs, qi and blood, and fluid, as well as the depth and severity of the disease, can be objectively reflected on the tongue. According to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, it is more considered to be the clinical manifestations caused by spleen and stomach weakness, spleen qi deficiency, spleen deficiency and dampness, or spleen and kidney yang deficiency.
Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the whitening of the tongue coating is caused by spleen deficiency or stomach fire and stomach stagnation, and after the formation of tooth marks on the tongue, it proves that the moisture has been more serious in its body, because the moisture stays in the body, and the tongue is easier to store water and moisture, resulting in the swollen tongue and squeezing the teeth, forming a tooth mark tongue. The thick white tongue coating indicates that there is too much phlegm, dampness and evil qi in the body.
Therefore, a thick tongue coating with tooth marks usually indicates spleen deficiency and dampness and internal content. If you adjust it in traditional Chinese medicine, you can use these two major acupoints - five acupoints of the stomach + four acupoints of the abdomen to dispel dampness and replenish the spleen at the same time, and the spleen and stomach will become stronger and stronger!
Five acupoints of the stomach (upper navel, middle navel, lower navel, double beam gate): the upper, middle and lower navel are all located in the Ren vein, which are located in the upper, middle and lower parts of the stomach, forming a line on the stomach, which is equivalent to the guard of the spleen and stomach. The five acupoints of the stomach raise the yang qi of the spleen and stomach, transfer the middle coke qi machine, strengthen the spleen and invigorate the qi, and regulate the middle coke.
Upper navel
【Positioning】Upper abdomen, anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 5 inches upper.
【Operation】Straight stab 1-1.5 inches. Moxibustion for 15-20 minutes.
Mid-navel
【Positioning】Upper abdomen, anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 4 inches above.
【Operation】Straight stab 1-1.5 inches. Moxibustion for 15-20 minutes.
Lower belly
【Positioning】Upper abdomen, anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 2 inches up.
【Operation】Straight stab 1-1.5 inches. Moxibustion for 15-20 minutes.
Beam doors
【Positioning】In the upper abdomen, when the umbilicus is 4 inches upper, and the anterior midline is 2 inches apart.
【Operation】Straight stab 0.8-1.2 inches.
Four acupoints of the abdomen (Zhongguan Shuangtianshu Guan Yuan): Zhongguan is the recruitment point of the stomach, Tianshu is the recruitment point of the large intestine, and Guan Yuan is the recruitment point of the small intestine. The four acupoints of the abdomen adjust the gastrointestinal function, strengthen the spleen and invigorate qi, dissolve phlegm and dispel dampness.
Mid-navel
【Positioning】Upper abdomen, anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 4 inches above.
【Operation】Straight stab 1-1.5 inches. Moxibustion for 15-20 minutes.
Tianshu
【Positioning】In the upper abdomen, open 2 inches next to the umbilicus.

【Positioning】In the lower abdomen, on the anterior midline, when the umbilicus is 3 inches below.
