The project is located in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, New Century · Linhai Lanshan, 215m² private residence, with unique geographical advantages and outdoor landscape, backed by Danan Mountain, facing Shenzhen Bay, with a wide view, from the perspective of housing location, price and size, it is undoubtedly a luxury residential area. But luxury doesn't mean extravagance and stacking.
Living alone in a big house in the center of the city requires a little naturalness, a little relaxation, and a little casualness to realize one's inner desire to escape from the outside world and get comfort.
Through the continuous creation of space and atmosphere, YUS HOUSE reconciles the normal state of the owner's transition between social space and residence, so that the final spatial state is seamlessly integrated with the outside environment. In this absolutely personal territory, this is a free space where you can be in a daze or have fun at will.
The cascading mountains in the background and the vastness facing the sea are the reasons why the owner fell in love with it at first sight. The sea breeze and surging waves outside the window, and the leisure and freedom of being alone in the house. In response to this impulse and thanks to the innate conditions of the house, the designer incorporated the sea into the room, and framed the continuous scenery with transparent windows, so that it could flow into the daily life state.
Instead of dividing the space in the traditional closed form, the sea view and a unified visual framework eliminate the separation of space, and connect a series of functional areas from the living room, dining room to living room, so that the interior forms an open and flexible layout, so that the owner can fully accept the sense of stability and wrapping brought by the space no matter where he chooses to stay and rest.
The ceiling and floor at the entrance are wrapped in solid wood floors, which are distinguished from the marble in the house, adding to the layering of the space against the backdrop of the skylight outside the window.
The design of custom wall cabinet floor lamps, irregular dressing mirrors and soft cloth benches that wander along the wall are combined with different functions to fit each other and form a multi-geometric aesthetic from top to bottom, which can also provide convenience and storage for homeowners to dress up and clean up before going out, as well as a bright environment. Across the door, you can switch between enjoying the chill of solitude inward and social outward.
In the interior, the color and material combinations of the space unfold in an unobtrusive continuity. The living room, coffee break area, and dining room are connected to form a spacious and bright functional integration area.
In the living room, from the clean white sofa to the randomly placed jumping color chairs, the warm texture of some stone is brought to the interior. With the adjustment of the lying position, enjoy the comfort of being soft and enclosed without being pretentious or artificial, and experience daily life in the staggered between daylight and night.
The coffee break area on the side of the living room is a cosy solitary corner. Put on a cup of tea, take out a book that you have read several times from the nearest movable trolley, or just sit quietly, looking at the sea, get rid of the fatigue of work and socialization, immerse yourself in the sense of abundance and certainty brought by life, and enjoy the lazy moment of living alone at home.
The restaurant's dark green textured island, orange dining chairs, and brown chandeliers have become the colors that make it a walk through the space. In the minimalist linear structure and the curved and winding light strips, the leather texture of the chandelier adds a bit of detachment and personality that is not confined to the world. The sliding screen design of the kitchen makes the space more transparent and smooth.
Transparent and smooth kitchen sliding screen design
The living room returns to the most basic functional needs, and grows a completely self-contained, calm and relaxed sleeping space.
Based on natural wood tones, there is no need for deliberate decoration and complex soft furnishings, simple and comfortable tones echo each other with low-key and restrained materials, and the chandelier emits soft light, making the space have a sense of tranquility.
Step barefoot on the warm wooden floor, listen to the waves outside the window, and feel the peace and tranquility of your heart. At this moment, the body and mind are able to sink into a deep sense of relaxation and tranquility.
The relationship between the rest area, the cloakroom and the bathroom is independent, and the corridor forms a connecting pattern. With the harmony of forms, the closeness of textures, and the integration of materials, the figurative physical space can be returned to the nourishing imagination of the dwelling.
The world around us is already noisy, and what life can do is to find a peaceful and transparent spiritual field in the nearby scenery, and reach the freedom of inwardness.
