About the Author

Xi Junqing, word: Yunfei, number: Hanzi, also name: unkempt Qiaozi, Gansu Tianshui people. He is good at traditional gongbi figure painting and freehand painting of flowers and birds.

Seal carving and calligraphy also have deep attainments. He is especially good at left-handed calligraphy, which is simple and vigorous, and has an endless aftertaste. He is currently a director of the Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, a national first-class artist, and a member of the Gansu Artists Association. He used to be the vice chairman of the Jiayuguan Artists Association. In his nearly thirty years of artistic career, he has worked hard and meticulously. His works have participated in many national painting and calligraphy competitions. Some of his works have been compiled into many large-scale albums such as "Chinese Hot Land" and "Dictionary of Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters", and have been collected by calligraphy and painting lovers in United States, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
