Today (August 2), the reporter learned from the Changning District Health Commission that according to the documents of the Shanghai Municipal Education Commission and the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission, Shanghai Education Commission Gao [2024] No. 23 and 24, it was agreed to list Shanghai Changning District Maternal and Child Health Hospital and Shanghai Changning District Mental Health Center as affiliated hospitals of East China Normal University.
Changning District Maternal and Child Health Hospital
Since 2019, when the Changning District Government and East China Normal University signed an agreement on cooperation in the construction of the Changning District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, the Changning District Government has given full play to the cooperation platform between the university and the hospital to accelerate the construction of the hospital's medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, disciplines, talents, management and services.
As a "beautiful business card" of Changning, Changning District Maternal and Child Health Hospital gives full play to the integrated function of the institution, adheres to pioneering and innovative, uses international standards and concepts, and is committed to building a seamless medical service chain of maternal and child health management of "longevity and well-being, blessing the family", and actively promotes the all-round maternal and child health services in the jurisdiction with the principle of "high quality and balance", forming a "12345+N" maternal and child health service system and integrated service model. Focusing on the characteristics of maternal and child health, the two sides of the school and the hospital have carried out multi-dimensional, in-depth and high-quality medical and educational collaboration and innovative integration, and the hospital has achieved remarkable results in medicine, teaching and research.
In the past five years, the hospital has been built in accordance with the standards and requirements of affiliated hospitals, giving strong support to education and teaching in terms of personnel, finance, and materials, and creating good teaching practice conditions for all kinds of students. The cooperation between the university and the institute has made remarkable progress in scientific research. Focusing on the characteristics of maternal and child health, the university and the institute have cooperated to establish three major centers for early childhood development, perinatal mental health, and pelvic floor diagnosis and rehabilitation affiliated to East China Normal University, completed the construction of 7 projects of the PI team in the first round, and obtained 8 cooperative research funds of the Affiliated Hospital of East China Normal University and 2 theme projects of the "Healthy Next Generation" theme project of the Medical and Health Joint Cultivation Fund of East China Normal University. Talent introduction and training to help discipline construction. In the past five years, in the process of establishing affiliated hospitals, the hospital has continued to increase its investment in the introduction and training of talents, introducing 11 discipline leaders and 7 doctors.

Changning District Mental Health Center
In 2019, the hospital was officially listed as the Mental Health Center Affiliated to East China Normal University (in preparation), created a leading group, formulated an implementation plan, comprehensively revised the hospital's teaching system, continued to improve the construction of the teaching management system, and made every effort to create a new model of cross-compound talent training with the concept of professional co-construction, curriculum co-responsibility, teacher co-training, base sharing, and talent co-education. The school and the hospital have made major breakthroughs in discipline development, scientific research and innovation, teaching management, and faculty construction.
Under the guidance of the concept of "whole population, full cycle, great health, and great health", Changning District Jingwei Center has been caring for the hearts of patients and residents for 50 years. In order to meet the increasingly diverse and in-depth needs of residents, the development goal of the center in recent years has become to build a mental health institution integrating medical treatment, teaching, scientific research, rehabilitation and prevention.
The hospital has accelerated the construction of a new hospital-community integrated service system that "covers the whole life cycle and faces the whole population", and actively developed two major academic clusters of "brain diseases and mental health" and "comprehensive prevention and treatment of mental disorders at the grassroots level". In 2020, it will become the first psychiatric hospital in the city to set up a rehabilitation medicine department, and cooperate with the Department of Rehabilitation of East China Normal University to create a new target situation of "medical-school integration" of domestic advantageous rehabilitation specialties, making the overall teaching, scientific research, prevention and rehabilitation of many disciplines of the hospital enter a stage of rapid development.
After more than ten years of accumulation of clinical teaching practice, the hospital has formed a dual-teacher teaching team, continuously improved and optimized the teaching implementation plan, centered on students, strengthened clinical bedside teaching, and hoped to cultivate "new psychology and new spirit" applied talents who understand both psychology and medicine. At present, there are 44 part-time clinical teaching teachers and 14 full-time and part-time master's supervisors in East China Normal University, and 55% of them have doctoral and senior professional titles.
Relying on the rich academic resources of East China Normal University, the hospital has innovatively built three research centers of East China Normal University, including child psychology and behavior development, mental health and rehabilitation medicine, and mental health and brain science, and obtained the qualification of Changning District Postdoctoral Research Workstation, and continues to promote the development of neurobiology, psychiatry, neurology and artificial intelligence, carry out a series of innovative clinical and basic research, and deepen the transformation of new technological innovation and scientific and technological achievements in the field of neuropsychiatry.
