According to the Hangzhou Meteorological Observatory, as of 14:35, the maximum temperature in the main urban area has reached 41.9 degrees, breaking through the 41.8 degrees on August 14, 2022, hitting a new high.

According to Xin Xin, a meteorological analyst at the China Meteorological Channel:

As of 15 o'clock today, the highest temperature in Tonglu of 42.4 °C also broke the record of the highest temperature in the history of local observation.

Zhuji was 42.5°C, tying the highest record in the history of observation.

At 15:15 today, Yiwu, Zhejiang Province was 42.6 °C, breaking the record for the highest temperature in the history of local observation!

As of 15 o'clock today, Hangzhou ranked ninth on the national high temperature list, and Zhejiang accounted for nine of the top ten.
