Gas safety is related to the safety of residents' lives and property! After investigation and evidence collection, the prosecutor handling the case believed that the outdoor gas pipeline was not equipped with isolation protection devices and safety warning signs, and there were great potential safety hazards.
In order to eliminate potential gas safety hazards, the procuratorate gave full play to the procuratorial public interest litigation supervision function, and promptly issued procuratorial suggestions to relevant functional departments, suggesting that they perform their duties in accordance with the law, and urged enterprises to take corresponding safety protection measures for gas pipelines and rectify potential safety hazards. At the same time, we will carry out special rectification activities for the safety production of gas pipelines, take effective measures to eliminate potential safety hazards of gas pipelines, plug safety supervision loopholes, and build a solid gas safety protection network.
After receiving the procuratorial proposal, the relevant functional departments attached great importance to it, immediately urged the gas company to carry out rectification, and carried out investigation and rectification work on the insufficient installation of outdoor gas pipeline protective fences in the residential area within the jurisdiction. At the same time, the functional department said that in the future, it will strengthen the supervision of gas projects, and regularly inspect, test, repair and maintain protective devices to ensure the safe operation of gas facilities.
The hospital followed up and supervised by "looking back" to ensure that the gas pipelines in the five communities where outdoor protective fences and safety warning signs were not installed were rectified.
