The project spans Wangcheng District and Kaifu District, starting from the west of Yinshan Road and ending at the west of the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge, with a total length of 5.475 kilometers, a total length of 4.96 kilometers for the main line bridge, and the main bridge across the Xiangjiang River is a double-tower cable-stayed bridge, with a main span of 380 meters, which is the widest bridge deck, the largest single span and the longest bridge length in Changsha.
Xinglian Road Passage is a fast passage across the east and west in the northern urban area of Changsha, connecting to the Changyi Double-track Expressway to the west, to the west of the Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge, and to Zhongqing Road, and also to the Songya Lake area of Changsha County. After the completion of the project, it will help improve the structure of the regional road network, alleviate the traffic pressure of Changsha's North Second Ring Road, and will also become one of the important passages connecting Yiyang and Changde to Changsha.
