● By 2025, it will build a first-class gateway hub airport with 5 runways and 3 terminals, and achieve the passenger throughput capacity of Baiyun International Airport exceeding 100 million passengers.

Encrypt the general speed rail line network in the main urban area, improve the coverage of rail transit services, complete the construction of four urban rail transit lines such as the eastern extension of Metro Line 5, Line 10, Line 11, and Line 12; and newly start the construction of the third phase of the construction planning adjustment line of Metro Line 8, the eastern extension of Line 8, and Line 24.
Accelerate the study of the fourth phase of rail transit construction planning schemes, improve the multi-level rail transit network, and achieve full coverage of important 33 passenger flow corridors. Carry out preliminary research on new low- and medium-volume transportation-related routes, and start construction work in a timely manner.
Guided by the TOD development concept, we will give full play to the maximum effect of "rail transit + land development" and accelerate the development and construction of the city's conditional rail transit station complex.
It is worth mentioning that the "Planning" for the first time disclosed the new subway lines planned and implemented during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and newly started the northern extension of Line 8, the eastern extension of Line 8, and Line 24.
● North Extension of Line 8: The line starts from Jiaoxin Station (formerly Baiyun Lake Station) of the Northern Extension section of Line 8 and ends at Guangzhou North Railway Station, with a total length of 20.7 kilometers and adopts a full underground laying method.
● Eastern extension of Line 8: 18 km of new urban track, from Wanshengwei - Lotus.
● Line 24: The line starts from Jiangfu Station of Line 8 and ends at Memorial Hall Station, with a total length of 20.1 kilometers, and 11 stations are set up in a full underground laying method.

Eastern Extension of Line 3 (Panyu Square - Hai ping)
The eastern extension of Metro Line 3 is under construction, the eastern extension of Line 3 is 9.6 kilometers long, extending east from the existing Panyu Square Station of Line 3, with a total of 4 stations on the line, including 1 interchange station, interchange with Line 4 at Haibang Station, and Panyu Passenger Transport Station is located on the west side of the intersection of Asian Games Avenue and Pingyan Road.

Eastern Extension of Line 5 (Wenchong - Huangpu Passenger Port)
The line starts from Wenchong Station of Line 5 and ends at Huangpu Passenger Port Station, with a total length of about 9.76 kilometers, with 6 stations in Shuanggang, Miaotou Road, Xiayuan, Baoying Avenue, Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu Passenger Port, using 6 train sets, with a maximum operating speed of 90 kilometers, which will realize the rapid connection between our district and the central urban area.
Latest Progress: 37% of civil works have been completed. Civil construction will be carried out at 6 stations on the whole line; 4 of the 6 sections will be carried out for civil construction, and the remaining 2 will be prepared in advance; civil construction will be carried out on the access section line and the Shuanggang parking lot.
Western Extension of Line 7 (Guangzhou South - Midea Avenue)
The western extension of Metro Line 7 extends from the guangzhou south station of the first phase of guangzhou metro line 7 in the east to the mid-road station in Shunde District of Foshan City, with a total length of about 13.4 kilometers, with a total of 8 stations and 1 parking lot.
The western extension of Line 7 is one of the key projects of Guangzhou-Foshan City, and it is also the first urban rail transit in Guangzhou to directly enter Shunde with zero transfer. After the completion of the line, it will effectively connect the urban rail transit line network between Guangzhou and Foshan, further expand the interaction scope of Guangzhou and Foshan, and be of great significance for promoting the interconnection and interconnection of the urban rail transit network in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Latest progress: 94% of civil works have been completed, and 89% of mechanical and electrical works have been completed. The rail area of the whole line has been transferred to the "three rights"; the equipment installation and decoration construction has been carried out at 8 stations on the whole line. Electromechanical construction is underway at the Yifeng car park.
Line 7 Phase II (University Town South - Water Northwest)
The second phase of Line 7 starts from University Town South Station and ends at Shuibei North Station, with a total length of 22 kilometers, all of which are underground lines. The second phase of the line has a total of 11 stations in Shenjing, Changzhou, Hongshengsha, Yufengwei, Dashadong, Jitang, Jiazhuang, Kefeng Road, Luogang, Shuixi and Shuibei, of which 7 interchange stations can be interchanged with Suiguan-Shenzhen Intercity Pazhou Branch Line, Line 8 East Extension, Line 13, Line 5, Line 19, Line 6, Line 21 and so on. It adopts a 6-section group with a maximum operating speed of 80 kilometers.
The second phase of Line 7 is conducive to solving the traffic needs of the north-south corridor in the eastern area of Guangzhou and promoting the construction of Guangzhou-Foshan urbanization.
Latest Progress: 53% of civil works have been completed. Of the 11 stations, 2 have been capped and 9 are engaged in civil construction; of the 11 sections, 10 are engaged in civil construction and 1 is undergoing preliminary preparation. Civil works were carried out in the Himedo parking lot.
Line 10 (West Lookout - Shibei Bridge)
With a total length of about 19.15 kilometers, the line is an encrypted line for rail transit in the downtown area of Guangzhou, which is conducive to strengthening the connection between the four major groups of Tianhe, Yuexiu, Haizhu and Liwan.
A total of 14 stations are set up, all of which are underground stations, including 10 interchange stations, and the branch line of Line 3 is dismantled; and 1 depot of Guanggang New Town is set up. The vehicle is a 6-car group B vehicle with a maximum operating speed of 80 km/h.
Line 11 (Railway Station - Pazhou - Railway Station)
Guangzhou Metro Line 11 (Guangzhou Railway Station - Pazhou - Guangzhou Railway Station) is a subway ring line, the total length of the line is about 44.2 kilometers, all using underground laying, a total of 32 stations on the line, in addition, a station (city rail Pazhou Station), including 24 interchange stations, 1 Chisha depot.
Latest Progress: 66% of civil works have been completed. Of the 32 stations, 1 is in preliminary preparation, 2 have been opened, 8 have been capped, and the remaining 21 are undergoing civil construction; of the 32 sections, 1 has been completed and opened, 8 have been penetrated, 16 have been carried out civil construction, and the remaining 7 have been prepared before construction. Civil construction was carried out on the Chisha Depot and the Entry and Exit Section.
Line 12 (Xunfenggang - South of University Town)
Latest Progress: 31% of civil works have been completed. Of the 25 stations, 3 have been capped, 21 are engaged in civil construction, and the remaining 1 is in preliminary preparation; of the 24 sections, 1 is through, 8 are engaged in civil construction, and the rest are prepared in advance. Civil construction was carried out in the chatou depot and the south parking lot of the university town.
Line 13 Phase II (Chaoyang - Yuzhu)
The second phase of Line 13 runs in an east-west direction, starting from Chaoyang and ending at the Yuzhu Station of the first phase of the project, mainly passing through the core area of the city, and there are key development areas such as Baiyun Lake Area, Luochongwei Comprehensive Renovation Area, Beijing Road Cultural Core Area, Zhujiang New Town, International Financial City, Huangpu Lingang Business District and other key development areas along the line.
Latest Progress: 37% of civil works have been completed. Of the 23 stations, 3 have been capped, 18 have been engaged in civil construction and 2 stations have been prepared in advance; among the 23 stations, 3 sections and the entrance and exit lines of the Huanggang parking lot have been completed, 13 have been carried out civil construction, and the remaining 7 have been prepared in advance. Line 14 Phase II (Jiahe Wanggang - Guangzhou Railway Station)
The second phase of Line 14 runs in a north-south direction, starting from Guangzhou Railway Station and ending at Jiahe Wanggang Station, with a total of 8 stations in Baiyun District (excluding the already built Jiahe Wanggang Station), which have stations in Pengbian, Henan, Creative Park, Mawu, Xinshixu, Gangbei, Lejia Road and Guangzhou Railway Station.

The first section of Line 22 (Panyu Square - Chentougang)
The first section (Panyu Square to Chentougang) is 18.2 kilometers long, with a total of about 36.4 kilometers of tracks to be laid, and 4 stations are set up, namely Panyu Square, Shiguang Road, Guangzhou South Railway Station, and Chen tougang.

Fangcun to Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway: Civil construction will start
According to the Baiyun District Land Development Center, the Fangcun to Baiyun Airport Intercity Railway Project will also be carried out in stages in the near future, with a planned total construction period of 5 years and 4 months, and is expected to open for trial operation at the end of 2026.
In order to ensure the start of construction of the intercity project, Baiyun District is coordinating the transfer of the pilot land for the Guanghua intercity project, and the groundbreaking ceremony for the project is scheduled to be held in the airport depot of Renhe Town in the near future.
The Fangbai Intercity Project line starts from Fangcun Station and ends at Airport North Station, with a length of about 41.1 kilometers and is laid underground.
There are 10 new stations, namely Rainbow Bridge Station, Guangzhou Railway Station, Baiyun Station, Xiamao Station, Baiyun City Center Station, Fangshi Station, Renhe Station, Airport East Station, Airport South Station, airport north station.

Fangbai Intercity connects Guangzhou Metro Line 22 to the south into Baietan, connects Guangzhou Railway Station Area, Baiyun Hub Area, Baiyun City Center, Airport Economic Zone, Baiyun Airport, etc. to the north, operates across the line with Guanghua Intercity, connects Baiyun Airport and Guangzhou Main and Sub-Centers, realizes 45-minute access between Nansha and Baiyun Airport, is conducive to promoting the quality improvement and transformation of Guangzhou Railway Station and other areas, and is a north-south backbone express line that supports urban space expansion.
