The Yangtze River love of "poetry immortals".
The Yangtze River, the giant dragon that traverses the land of China, has given birth to the glory of Chinese civilization and witnessed the talents and dreams of countless literati and artists. Among the many poems that chant the Yangtze River, Li Bai's poems are particularly prominent, and he gives the Yangtze River infinite poetry and vitality with his bold and elegant brushstrokes. Today, let's read Li Bai's poems together, feel the magnificence of the Yangtze River, and appreciate the profound connotation of the Yangtze River culture.
Portrait of Li Bai
Li Bai, whose name is Taibai, is a famous romantic poet in the Tang Dynasty and is known as a "poet immortal". Li Bai's life has an indissoluble bond with the Yangtze River. He visited Jinling 11 times, Jiangxia 6 times, Yangzhou 5 times, and Xuancheng 7 times...... In Li Bai's pen, there is the Yangtze River that holds the nine factions hostage and passes away, the Yangtze River that ramps and breaks the gate of heaven, the Yangtze River that embraces the tide and rolls against the current, and the Yangtze River that is as flat as a mirror and bright and open. It can be said that the water of the Yangtze River has long melted into Li Bai's pen and ink, and has become the most magnificent and beautiful existence in his poems.
At the age of 25, Li Bai left his relatives for the first time and traveled far away, sent to Qingxi at night, and went straight to the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Although his heart is full of nostalgia for the countryside, this has not dampened his youthful chivalry. When the bright moon is in the sky, express your aspirations, this famous "Emei Mountain Moon Song" was born:
The moon of Mount Emei is half in autumn, and the shadow enters the water flow of the Pingqiang River.
At night, Qingxi went to the Three Gorges, and Sijun did not see Yuzhou.
The young Li Bai held the heart of competing with the bright moon, set up the ambition of the Quartet, traveled far away from Shu, and his spirit was extraordinary, just like a big peng flapping his wings and flying high.
Three gorges
And when Li Bai was truly in the majestic beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, the pride in his chest was completely awakened by the rushing river. "Qutang is full of piles, it can't be touched in May", "Ba water is as urgent as an arrow, and Ba boats are like flying", "Baidi City is full of turmoil, who dares to pass Qutang in May"...... The beauty of the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River gathers in the pen, and I can't finish writing.
Many years later, when the elderly Li Bai encountered the Three Gorges again, his pride was still the same as it was back then. In 759 AD, Li Bai was exiled to Yelang, when the boat traveled to the most precipitous section of the Yangtze River, the slowness of the boat and the inner sorrow were intertwined, and there was the feeling of "three dynasties and three twilight, not feeling the sideburns into silk" in "Upper Three Gorges". But after all, suffering could not erase the romance in Li Bai's heart, and when he arrived at the White Emperor City, he suddenly received the news of pardon, Li Bai was pleasantly surprised, and then took a boat to the east. Walking to Gangneung, a song full of joy "Early White Emperor City" gushed out:
Between the white emperor and the clouds, thousands of miles of Jiangling will be returned in one day.
The apes on both sides of the strait could not stop crying, and the light boat had already crossed the ten thousand mountains.
At that time, the Three Gorges water rapids were dangerous, and the boats were going upstream, only to feel stagnant, but now going downstream, Li Bai felt very happy, the boat was as light as nothing, thunder and rain and dew, and there was a special interest in his poems.
In the fifteenth year of Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty (727 AD), Li Bai was 27 years old. He traveled to Anlu, Hubei, and spent ten years in a circle, meeting friends with poetry and wine, and living a leisurely life. During this period, Li Bai met Meng Haoran, who was twelve years older than him, and the two hit it off at first sight and became close friends. In March of the eighteenth year of Kaiyuan (730 AD), Li Bai learned that Meng Haoran was going to Guangling (now Yangzhou, Jiangsu), so he asked someone to bring a letter and asked Meng Haoran to meet in Jiangxia, which is now Wuhan. A few days later, Meng Haoran went east by boat, and Li Bai personally sent it to the river to say goodbye, and wrote a talented poem "Yellow Crane Tower to Meng Haoran's Guangling":
The old man left the Yellow Crane Tower in the west, and the fireworks went down to Yangzhou in March.
The lonely sail is far away and the blue sky is endless, and only the Yangtze River skyline can be seen.
Yellow crane tower
The years have turned a thousand times, and all things are accompanied by a desolation. Now, when we come to the bank of the Yangtze River, the sky is still flowing with the morning glow clouds, the flowing river is still under our feet, and the mountains, rivers and fields in front of us are still in front of us, but Li Bai's poems can bring us back to the willows and waves in his pen again and again, take us to reach out to pick the moonlight thousands of years ago, and take us to accompany the magnificent poems to get close to this ancient river.
