On September 11, the "Mother Water Cellar" water supply system project of Wrigley Home Furnishing Group was officially accepted. In 2023, Wrigley Home (001322. SZ) Group, together with the China Women's Development Foundation and the Guangdong Women's Children's Foundation, donated the "Mother's Water Cellar" water supply system to Jinfeng Village, Shanmu Village, Huangyang Village, Longdongyan Village, Dawan Town, Yubei District, Chongqing, aiming to solve the problem of safe water supply for more than 1,400 families and more than 40,000 people in the local area. On the same day, Zhu Yan, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the Women's Federation of Yubei District, Chongqing, Wang Guangfa, a first-level researcher of the Chongqing Women's Federation, representatives of the China Women's Development Association Foundation, representatives of the Guangdong Women's Children's Foundation, representatives of Arrow Home Furnishing Group Enterprises, and representatives of the Women's Federation of Dawan Town, Yubei District, participated in the acceptance work. With the strong support of the donation of funds from Arrow Home Furnishing Group, the "Mother Water Cellar" in the place made use of the existing resources of Yutai Mountain Water Plant, rebuilt a water treatment station with a daily treatment capacity of 500m³/d in the water treatment plant, built a new 15-square-meter equipment room, equipped with an integrated automatic water purification equipment, and renovated the surrounding supporting water pipelines, power lines and ancillary facilities of the water plant, aiming to let every household use clean water resources.
The implementation of the project not only completely overcame the problem of "water difficulty" in the local area, but also provided conditions for agricultural irrigation, family breeding, and the establishment of "farmhouses", revitalized the development of local rural enterprises, and realized the effective connection between the consolidation and expansion of drinking water safety and poverty alleviation achievements and rural revitalization, which received good social responses.
