In order to further enhance students' concept of the rule of law and safety awareness, build a safe and harmonious campus environment. On the occasion of the arrival of the new semester, a series of safety education activities of "Setting Sail for the New Semester - The First Lesson of Anti-Drug, Anti-Fraud, Anti-Evil and Protection of Minors in the Autumn" was launched in Nansha No. 1 Middle School in Guangzhou, Gangwan Street. More than 150 freshmen in Nansha No. 1 Middle School received a comprehensive safety protection knowledge package, opening the prelude to a new semester of safety.
The first lesson of anti-drug knowledge
"What types of drugs have you heard of?" During the on-site interaction with the students, the staff from the Gangwan Street Safety and Legal Office began to teach anti-drug courses. By explaining the dangers of drugs such as etomidate and dextromethorphan, as well as drug substitutes such as laughing gas, students are taught to learn to prevent and refuse drugs, be vigilant against camouflaging drugs, make friends with a clear mind, and put an end to entering the drug abuse and trafficking circle.
The interactive Q&A sessions interspersed in the classroom injected vitality into the original serious teaching class, and the students also deepened their understanding of anti-drug knowledge in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Immediately afterwards, all the teachers and students took the anti-drug oath together, and the oath of "staying away from drugs, cherishing life, building harmony, starting from me" resounded throughout the campus, and they expressed their determination to refuse drugs with firm language, and the atmosphere was warm and full of positive energy.
The first lesson in opposing cults
In the anti-cult class, volunteers guided the students to learn how to identify drugs and guard against cults by analyzing the definition of cults, the difference between religion and cults, and explaining the ways in which cults spread. At the same time, the staff also gave a special introduction to the methods of identifying evil cults and the signs of typical evil cults, thus providing the students with a "sharp sword" to guard against evil cults.
The first lesson of anti-fraud security
Officer Zhao, a science popularization volunteer and the head of the anti-fraud special class of the Gangwan Police Station, used plain language and vivid cases to transform complex security knowledge into easy-to-understand content, and conducted in-depth interaction and exchanges with the students. Through her popular science explanation, the students not only learned how to prevent telecom network fraud and protect personal privacy, but also enhanced their awareness of fire safety, traffic safety, sexual assault prevention and opposition to school bullying.
After the course, the students stopped in front of the drug model and anti-drug knowledge display board to watch carefully and study carefully. The students said that through this lecture, they have a deeper understanding of the harm of drugs, cults, and fraud, as well as the importance of anti-sexual assault and school bullying. Many students said, "I have benefited a lot from this activity, and I want to tell my parents about my knowledge when I go back." ”
Safety education is only "in progress", not "in completion". Gangwan Street said that in the future, it will continue to pay attention to the safety of minors, do a good job in the "after-school service" of safety education classes, and escort the healthy growth of minors.
