In order to fully implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the Chinese Trade Unions, warmly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, create a healthy, civilized, high-spirited, and fully participated employee culture, and enrich the cultural and sports life of employees, on September 18, the Propaganda Department of the Lingqiu County Party Committee and the County Federation of Trade Unions, and the Sports Service Department of Zhongqi Technology and the Lingqiu County Table Tennis Association hosted the 2024 "Passionate Table Tennis, Happy and Healthy" county-wide staff table tennis mixed team competition in Lingqiu County.
Zhang Xiuli, member of the Standing Committee of the County Party Committee and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the County Party Committee, announced the start of the event, Lv Haiming, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the County People's Congress, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the County Federation of Trade Unions, presided over and delivered a speech, and relevant leaders of the County Federation of Trade Unions, Lingqiu County Table Tennis Association, and Zhongqi Technology Sports Service Department attended the opening ceremony.

It is understood that the competition began on September 18 and ended on September 19, lasting two days, in Lingqiu County Pingxingguan Table Tennis Club. More than 100 players from 28 teams from various townships, enterprises and institutions participated in the competition. The competition implements the latest "Table Tennis Competition Rules" approved by the General Administration of Sports of the People's Republic of China, and adopts an 11-point system. It is divided into mixed team, men's singles and women's singles events. In the game, the players were full of passion and vigorous posture, constantly changing tactics and playing styles, or precise attacks, or clever defenses, and wonderful scenes emerged one after another.
