Moderator: Could you please share with us the origin of your name - the National Day, and does this name bring any special memories in your life?
Fan Guoqing: I am a journalist at the Jinshan District Rong Media Center, and I was born on National Day in 1986. My mother told me at that time that I was born in the early morning, and everyone was listening to the radio at that time, and in the morning the radio was broadcasting the news celebrating the 37th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
Luo Guoqing: I was born in 1959, the 10th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Since it was the first ten years, and then the day I registered after I was born happened to be the National Day, my parents also gave me personal blessings and hopes, and finally took the name of National Day. After graduating from middle school, I was admitted to the technical school of Shanghai Petrochemical General Plant at that time, studied for two years, and was assigned to Jinshanwei Water Plant of Shanghai Petrochemical General Plant to start maintenance work. During this period, he passed the study examination and entered the staff university of Shanghai Petrochemical General Plant for three years, and returned to Jinshan Water Plant after graduation and began to do technical management. After more than ten years of hard work and continuous learning and progress, he transferred to the workshop management position in 2003, and participated in the adult night school of East China University of Science and Technology, and worked until his retirement in 2019.
Moderator: What is your vision for the future and your personal dream? and blessings for the future of the motherland.
Fan Guoqing: I am just an ordinary citizen, and like everyone else, I look forward to the prosperity of the country and the peace of the country. I did the math, and when I retired, it happened to be the 100th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. I think that by that time, our country will definitely become a prosperous, strong, democratic, civilized, harmonious, and beautiful modern socialist power. At this stage, we will definitely inherit the glorious tradition and fine style of the older generation and do our part. It is hoped that the new generation of people will be able to leave their footprints and sweat in the process of building our motherland.
Luo Guoqing: After this year's National Day, I will also be 65 years old. I just want to take care of my body. In July 2023, Jinshan District issued the "Implementation Plan for Accelerating the Transformation and Upgrading of Key Areas and Promoting High-quality Development in Jinshan District (2023-2025)". I hope that under the promulgation of this plan, the people of Jinshan and the motherland will prosper together, and I wish our motherland more prosperity.
