In order to commemorate the merits of the martyrs and carry forward the spirit of the martyrs, on the morning of September 30, the public memorial activity of the September 30 Martyrs Memorial Day of Linli County on ·September 30, 2024 was held in the Martyrs' Cemetery. Li Yuchu, secretary of the county party committee, participated in the public memorial activities, and Hu Binbin, deputy secretary of the county party committee and county magistrate, presided over the public memorial activities.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, all the personnel lined up to play and sing the national anthem of the People's Republic of China, and the Young Pioneers sang "We Are the Successors of Communism." All the personnel stood in front of the Martyrs' Monument and paid silent tribute. Accompanied by the affectionate "Flower Offering Song", 10 salute soldiers escorted the flower basket and slowly walked to the Linli Revolutionary Martyrs Monument to present the flower basket to the monument. Li Yuchu slowly walked up the steps, arranged the flower basket ribbons, and all the public memorial personnel bowed three times to the martyrs. Subsequently, with reverence, the participants in the public memorial activities paid homage to the Revolutionary Martyrs' Monument and the Martyrs' Tombs in turn, and presented flowers to the martyrs' tombs to remember the martyrs and pay tribute to the heroes.
Before the public memorial activities, Li Yuchu, Hu Binbin and other county leaders expressed their condolences to the relatives of the five martyrs, Wang Anyun, Dai Guozheng, Mei Xiong, Xue Xianglin, and Huang Dayong, learned about their physical conditions and living conditions, and expressed their high respect and cordial condolences to them on behalf of the county party committee and county government.
Members of the Standing Committee of the county party committee, political commissars of the county people's armed forces department, deputy county magistrates in charge of the county government, as well as representatives of retired veteran cadres, relatives of martyrs, and retired servicemen attended the public memorial activities.
