During the National Day holiday, people either go out to relax or enjoy family time. However, there is such a group of people who still shuttle through the streets of the city as usual. They are the couriers, the workers who still stick to their jobs during the holidays.

At 8 o'clock in the morning of October 2, the Gulou Pingshan outlet of an express company in Fuzhou City showed a busy scene. Li Guangxiang, as usual, clocked in and reported on time. He expertly sorts the parcels that have just arrived, sorts them by different delivery areas, and loads them onto his e-bike one by one, ready to start his day.

"Although the volume of express delivery has decreased during the National Day, we still have to ensure that every package is delivered in a timely manner." Li Guangxiang said, "If we are on vacation, then these couriers will be stranded, so my colleagues and I must also do a good job of delivery during the National Day holiday." ”

Li Guangxiang, 31 years old this year, from Wannian County, Jiangxi Province, has been engaged in the express delivery industry for 13 years. He takes up a mobile position in the outlet, and whenever his colleagues take a turn off, he has to take on the replacement work to ensure the normal flow of express mail. Shuttling between the various communities in Gulou District every day, Li Guangxiang knows every corner of the area.

"Compared with usual, there are more express mail of gifts during the National Day holiday, and everyone is looking forward to the express mail being delivered to their hands as soon as possible." Li Guangxiang said that during the holiday, he sent more than 300 pieces of express mail every day.

During the course of the day, Lee spent very little time taking a lunch break and eating. He is basically in a "race" against time, taking a short break at noon and starting the delivery work in the afternoon. It wasn't until around 19 o'clock that he delivered the last express to the customer safely, and the day's hard work came to an end. "I can't rest on holidays, but I feel extremely satisfied when I see the smiles on my customers' faces when they receive their deliveries." Li Guangxiang said with emotion.
