Routine analysis
Step 1
Scammers buy victims' personal information through illegal means and obtain relevant information such as victims' names, mobile phone numbers, and addresses.
Step 2
The scammer pretended to be the customer service of the e-commerce platform and called the victim, asking if the victim wanted to cancel if he opened a membership, and if he did, he would cancel according to his requirements to avoid automatic deduction.
Step 3
After gaining the victim's initial trust, the "customer service" informed the victim that if he wanted to cancel the membership business, he needed to conduct a fund check, during which the scammer would repeatedly promise that all refunds would be made after successful verification, inducing the victim to remit the balance of the bank card in his name to the designated account.
