When I saw Shanghai Guangci Hospital in "Night and Dawn", I suddenly remembered that on June 18, 1933, after the famous democrat Yang Xingfo was assassinated by the secret service of the Fuxing Society (the predecessor of the military command), he was also sent to Guangci Hospital for treatment.
When Yang Xingfo was assassinated, the head of the Shanghai District of the Fuxing Society's secret service (the name of the agency has changed many times, and sometimes it is called East China and Shanghai Special District) was Yu Lexing, Shen Zui was the head of the intelligence group, and Zhao Lijun was the leader of the action group.
Shen Zui's "The Inside Story of the Military Command" and his daughter Shen Meijuan's "The Evil Sea Hero Dai Li" both describe in detail the process of Mr. Yang Xingfo's assassination, readers are more familiar with Shen Zui, and may not know much about Zhao Lijun and Yu Lexing: Zhao Lijun is the most ferocious of the four killers of the military command (the other three are Chen Gongshu, Wang Tianmu, and Shen Zui), and Shen Lexing's brother-in-law Yu Lexing is the same as Wu Jingzhong (formerly known as Wu Jingzhong) in "Latent", a traitor to our party who graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in Moscow.
Shen Zui admitted in his memoirs: "The assassination of Yang Xingfo was Chiang Kai-shek's decision, and the main reason was to intimidate Mr. Soong Ching-ling. In 1932, when I joined the secret service organization of the Military Command (then the secret service of the Fuxing Society), I served as the district transportation and team leader in the East China District of Shanghai, and I was an indirect participant in this bloody case. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the military command held a large-scale special agent training class, and I also served as a basic instructor of "operational techniques" for a long time, and was responsible for editing the operational skills lecture notes of the military command's special training classes, and listed this bloody case as a teaching material. ”
When Shen Zui wrote the textbooks of the military command special training class, he naturally wanted to vigorously exaggerate how successful their actions were, how loyal the accomplices they killed were, Zhao Lijun shot Guo Decheng who was running behind, and how Dai Li asked people to poison Guo Decheng who was shot but did not die, of course he would not tell the students of the special training class.
In 1949, Shen Zui was arrested in Yunnan, and in 1960, before and after the amnesty, Shen Zui was writing memoirs, and Shen Meijuan also heard a lot of secret secrets from her father. Not only is there no mercy, but there is no guilt.
Dai Li's assassination of Yang on the orders of Lao Jiang was in April and May 1933, when Yang Xingfo returned to Shanghai from Beiping not long ago, Dai Li immediately personally commanded the assassination operation, and the person in charge of the operation was Yu Lexing, the head of the Shanghai District.
Shen Zui and a spy surnamed Huang set up a lookout point in a two-story building facing the street opposite Yang Xingfo's residence and diagonally opposite No. 32 Yaerpei Road, on the one hand, to find out the law of Yang Xingfo's actions, and on the other hand, to monitor Zhao Lijun, the leader of the action group, so as to "remedy" in time when there is a mistake in the action - it can be used to kill Yang Xingfo or to destroy the injured agent of Zhao Lijun's action group.
Shen Zui said that his task at that time was to "continue to monitor until Zhao Lijun and others complete their tasks before retreating, and if necessary, help them." But how to "help", as an apprentice trained by Dai Li, Shen is very clear.
Shen Zui reported Yang Xingfo's action rules to Yu Lexing and Dai Li, and Dai Li only convened a meeting of the action participants, including Zhao Lijun, on June 17 - this is also the practice of military operations, and non-core personnel and killers are only notified at the last moment, and there are only a few people who know about it, including Dai Li, Yu Lexing, Shen Zui, and Huang Secret Service.
Zhao Lijun is a dirty worker, and he really can't interfere with the detailed work of formulating an action plan: Later, Zhao Lijun buried the Central Commander alive, which was full of loopholes and was detected, and after being arrested, he wrote a letter to Lao Jiang mentioning the assassination of Yang, so angry that Lao Jiang directly ordered him to be shot, which shows that Zhao Lijun is also the level of Ma Kui Li Ya, and compared with Yu Lexing Wu Jingzhong, he is more than one grade worse in terms of resourcefulness.
Dai Li and Yu Lexing personally assigned tasks to Zhao Lijun, and Shen Zui drew a roadmap and timetable for Yang Xingfo to ride a horse every day for Zhao Lijun's action group, and then the spies involved in the operation swore together, which was nothing more than "if you don't succeed, you will become benevolent", but the action spies would never have thought that the oath was finally fulfilled.
On June 18, Zhao Lijun personally took Li Ada, Guo Decheng, Shi Yunzhi, and the four killers in a car, parked at the corner of Yaerpei Road and Masinan Road, and Shen Zui hid behind the opposite window with Huang Spy as usual to monitor.
At about 8 o'clock, Yang Xingfo took his youngest son out of the No. 32 courtyard and got into the car, Zhao Lijun and other four killers flashed out from the root of the wall and behind the tree at the same time, and the four pistols were fired at the same time.
As soon as the gunshots rang out, the "big-headed green-clothed" concession patrol also blew the siren (there were similar whistles to the patrols back then, we saw it in Jackie Chan's "Plan A", and the coast guard also made up a set of smooth slips for the land police) ran from all directions, Zhao Lijun and others quickly ran to the car they had started, and they were too nervous, ran in the wrong direction, and went directly to the patrol.
Shen Zui recalled: "Zhao saw that he was still a few feet away, and at this time the nearby siren sounded wildly, so he couldn't stop and wait, for fear that he would leak the news after he was arrested, he immediately fired a shot at him from the car, and failed to hit the key point in a hurry, so he increased his horsepower and drove away." Guo Decheng had just completed the task, but he didn't expect to be shot by his own people. He tried to run for his life, but the patrols approached him. He knew he could no longer escape, so he had to shoot himself. A bullet passed through the chest, and although he fell to the ground in extreme pain, he did not die, but he was caught by the patrol and immediately sent to Father Jin Lu Guangci Hospital with Yang's father and son for rescue. ”
If we look closely at Shen Zui's memoirs, we know that he lied: Guo Decheng was a specially trained agent, and if he really wanted to commit suicide, he would only hit the temple and not the chest - a shot in the head killed instantly, and hitting the chest was much more painful.
Shen Zui may have told his daughter the truth, so in Shen Meijuan's description, Guo Decheng was directly knocked down by Zhao Lijun and bled all over the ground, and then he was arrested by the patrol.
Guo Decheng was shot and did not die, and was sent to Guangci Hospital to be rescued quickly, and he was able to speak that afternoon. Hearing the news, Dai Li and Yu Lexing were not only unhappy, but furious, they learned through the inside line of the patrol room, that Guo Decheng only said that he was "named Gao Dechen (pseudonym after joining the military command), a native of Shandong, came to Shanghai to join his relatives", and nothing else was recruited.
Dai Li's heart is ruthless, readers all know it, and everyone can guess what will happen next: "Dai Li was very happy to hear the news that Yang had been stabbed to death, but he was very angry when he heard that Guo Decheng had been arrested and told his pseudonym. Immediately inform Fan Guangzhen, a special agent of the military command who was patrolling the arrest room in the French Concession, and asked him to bring a bag of poison and use the arrest relationship to find the result. That night, the murderer also died of his wounds. ”
Dai Li knew the next day that it was necessary for him to kill Decheng's mouth, because the next day, when the newspaper published the assassination of Yang Xingfo, they only mentioned the name of the murderer Gao Dechen, and said that Gao was arrested because the murderer four people shot at each other when he assassinated Yang.
Dai Li returned to Nanjing on June 20 to ask Lao Jiang for merit and reward, Yu Lexing, Shen Zui, and Zhao Lijun all received bonuses, and Dai Li also expressed "grief" for Decheng's "Chengren", in addition to giving some pensions to Decheng's family, he also named a road of the Sino-US Cooperation Institute "Guodecheng Road", but he kept Zhao Lijun's shooting Chengcheng and he personally instructed Fan Guangzhen to poison and kill Chengcheng in secret, and Shen Zui even wrote the assassination of Yang Xingfo into the textbook of the special training class of the military commander, boasting that "after the completion of the Chengcheng mission, he could not escape, and committed suicide."
In order to achieve the goal, unscrupulous means, it is better to kill 3,000 by mistake than to let go of one, the military commander's ruthlessness is still applicable to "his own people", and when he was drunk as an instructor in a special training class, he and another instructor successively secretly killed an unconvinced student in the name of demonstration.
We watched "Night and Dawn", "Latent", "Kite", the spies in it shot at the "siblings" without even blinking their eyes, in fact, it is also very consistent with historical facts, readers Zhujun read the relevant historical materials, how will they evaluate the behavior of Dai Li, Yu Lexing, Zhao Lijun, Shen Zui and others?
