Journey to Turkey (20)
**In the Blue Mosque, feel the echoes of history**
Our journey started in Istanbul and after more than ten days of exploration, almost half of Turkey was crossed, and now we are back in this ancient and modern city.
Istanbul, a city that straddles Asia and Europe, is not only a geographical marvel, but also a cultural crossroads. It blends the best of national thought, culture, and art from Europe, Asia, and Africa, leaving behind countless breathtaking monuments.
We came to the Blue Mosque, one of the most famous mosques in Turkey and the most important symbol of Istanbul. It was built in the early 17th century, and its interior is mainly decorated with blue and white tiles, hence the name "Blue Mosque".
The overall architectural style of the mosque adopts the dome design common in Islamic architecture, surrounded by six minarets, symbolizing the six faiths of Islam. These six minarets are not only architectural decorations, but also declarations of faith, and they rise into the sky, pointing to the sky, making people feel a kind of divine power when they look up.
The Blue Mosque is one of the top 10 wonders of the world, and its beauty lies not only in the grandeur of its architecture, but also in its inherent tranquility and harmony. The vast majority of visitors are Europeans, who are either attracted by the religious atmosphere or by the artistic charm of the area. Here, different cultures and beliefs are exchanged and blended, which together make up Istanbul's unique cityscape.
For female visitors, a headscarf is required to enter the mosque as a sign of respect for local religious practices. The hijab is not only part of the costume, but also part of the culture. It gives us, the outsiders, the opportunity to experience the local way of life and feel the warmth and friendliness of the Turkey people.
Standing in the courtyard of the Blue Mosque, the sunlight shines through the stained glass on the ancient stone slabs, shimmering mysteriously, as if the sky and the sea are combined, reminiscent of the rich history and culture of the country of Turkey. Our trip to Turkey is coming to an end, but the Blue Mosque has left me with an eternal feeling. It is not only a building, but also a symbol of culture, a symbol of faith.

The green tile cornices reflect the sun, and the blue porcelain and white glaze tell the ancient rhyme.
The six towers stand outside the clouds, and the light of faith is quiet.
