Journey to Turkey (19)
**A Journey Through Time and Color: A Trip to the Small Town of Jumalek**
In the early morning, the sun shines through the ancient stone walls and onto the winding alleys, and the air is filled with the smell of history. This is not a dream, this is the small town of Jumalek in Turkey, a place known as the "Little Saffron City". I was fortunate enough to set foot on this land and embark on a relaxing and happy visit.
The history of the small town of Jumalek dates back to the Middle Ages, and every stone, every window, here tells the story of the past. But it's the colors that are the most appealing. The dark blue and yellow walls, like a painter's palette, are casually swayed but surprisingly harmonious, making people feel as if they are in a vivid oil painting.
In 2014, the town of Jumalek was declared a World Heritage Site, an honor that not only affirms its historical value, but also brings more attention and protection. The town continues the Ottoman architectural characteristics of more than 700 years ago and is one of the most typical examples of rural architecture in the Ottoman Empire.
Wander the town's cobblestone alleys and weave among the old houses where the inhabitants still maintain their peaceful and tranquil lifestyle.
I witnessed a series of warm pictures: the old people in their own courtyards, enjoying a hearty breakfast; Children chase and frolic carefreely in the square; There are also women who gather on the side of the road in twos and threes to chat, sharing each other's daily routines.
These simple and pure life scenes made me deeply feel the tranquility and harmony of the town. Here, time seems to slow down, giving people the opportunity to stop the hurried pace, to feel every detail of life, to listen to the voice of the heart.
Each house here has its own unique story. The frescoes on the walls, the carved doors and windows, and the beautiful sinks all gave me a deeper understanding of the glorious history of the Ottoman Empire.
Tired of walking, I sat in front of a small shop, ordered a cup of Turkey coffee, watched the people come and went, and felt the rhythm of life in the town. The small town of Jumalek, an unoverdeveloped place, retains its pristine state, without the hustle and bustle of commerce, only tranquility and coziness.

The ancient alleys of Zhumalek are deep, and the blue walls and yellow tiles are painted with wind and dust.
The stone path is secluded and quiet, and the Ottoman dreams haunt the soul.
