In the long river of history, every building is a whisperer of time, and they silently tell the vicissitudes and glory of the years. Qingdao Zhanqiao, a century-old famous bridge lying on the blue waves, together with the Huilan Pavilion at its southern end, has witnessed countless ebb and flow, wind and clouds.

Looking back on the past, Huilan Pavilion is not only a landmark landscape of Qingdao, but also a microcosm of China's modern history. From the initial construction of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, to the wars and many reconstructions, every brick and tile and every touch of color painting is deeply engraved with the imprint of the times.
In order to do a good job in the inheritance and protection of history and culture, restore its original style to the greatest extent, and retain the precious memories in the hearts of the people, from now on, the center will carry out the "Huilan Pavilion Painted Old Photos" collection activity for the whole society, aiming to collect those precious images scattered among the people, provide historical reference for the repair work, and help Huilan Pavilion regain the style and glory of the past.
